  1. Good Point. I will probably do just that. Except, I'm going to leave the very tips chrome.
  2. Sorry NO Guzzi Content... But I thought I would share. After almost 2 years of ownership and only 1000 miles of riding my PS1000, (My daily commuter is my V11 Sport) I decided to modify the stock exhaust. I'm still in the process of finishing, but you'll get the idea. Once it's mocked up I will Hot Coat the exhaust tubing. I started with a pair of Emgo Roadhawks. 17" reverse cone mufflers. Retail about $50. However, I traded some powdercoating and got them for $25 each. I utilized the stock hanger from the PS and used the Hardware that came with the 2 mufflers. When this is done, I will be able to bolt the stock exhaust back if needed. No factory hardware or parts are being damaged or modified. Just an alternative to the high end systems that I can no longer afford. just ask the EX wife's attorney and the district court judge.
  3. Here it is... I thought I would hang on to it but it just sits and gets dusty. Very nice and presentable fuel tank for a 2004 MG V11 Sport. Bright Red. I don't need to sell it, but I found a project Guzzi that I would like to restore. There are a few flaws. However, when installed almost invisible. This tank was one that had the bad venting through the fuel pump. It cause the tank to swell and the damage is on the very front almost undrneath. Hard to explain but you can see by the pics. $150.00 Mods. If I listed this improperly please let me know. I don't want to offend anyone. Thanks, Richard Z.
  4. Its the same recipe Rev. Jim Jones enjoys... Is it too soon? Sorry.
  5. Not a huge beatles Fan but understand the depression. I do like the Beatles. Just wouldn't stand in line to see them.. LOL Last month "Norton Buffalo" Died of cancer. Huge loss for those of us that grew up in that era of music. Yes, I know. Who the Hell is Norton Buffalo? You've heard his music not knowing who he was... Look his name up and you'll know exactly who he was...
  6. EMGO Roadhawk Mufflers.
  7. DING DING DING... We have a Winner. Tell him what he has won....
  8. $25 bucks each. 17" long. Gonna replace the boat anchors already on the Bike. I'll just Hot Coat them Black. Sure beats the price of Terms or FBF's... No I won't be cutting up anything original or destroying any hardware. I'll build them so the originals can be remounted.
  9. From what I'm reading. It appears this is the same bunch that started the "Global Warming" Conspiracy...
  10. Thank You... Icy rain and 20* just got here... Looks like I won't be riding for a bit...
  11. HaHa.. I wonder how the conversation with St Peter went... "Yes. But I wasn't convicted." Oh crap. I mentioned religion. Now I'm gonna get banned for sure... LOL
  12. Change Oil... Keep riding... maybe wipe a few bugs off. Oh and Build the exhaust for the Ducati...
  13. I've just been busy with work, Holidays and building / restoring bikes. The less I know of the outside world the better I feel.. LOL The mufflers for the Paul Smart Ducati have finally hit the States after a 8 week boat ride. Gonna build my own exhaust. Can't afford Zards Terms or anything else. Been practicing my TIG Skills. I think I'm ready.. I'm also getting back to my Honda TL Restoration. Now that My Son Trent has finished his GT250.
  14. Kinda takes some heat off John Daly.... I'm sure he is pleased by Tiger's Transgretions...
  15. Sure. Here 's something... I could Care Less if Tiger is Banging Transvestite Midget Whore's... How's that? Found a few of these to go with the above. Tiger Woods is so rich that he owns lots of expensive cars. Now he has a hole in one. What's the difference between a car and a golf ball? Tiger can drive a ball 300 yards. Tiger Woods wasn't seriously injured in the crash, but he's still below par. What were Tiger Woods and his wife doing out at 2.30 in the morning? They went clubbing Tiger Woods crashed into a fire hydrant and a tree. He couldn’t decide between a wood and an iron. Ping just offered Elin Woods an endorsement contract pushing her own set of drivers. They are named Elin Woods..."clubs you can beat Tiger with." Tiger just changed his nickname but still kept it in the cat family--his new name?: Cheetah Since Tiger drives an Escalade, can he blame the accident on his caddy?
  16. There's nothing wrong with having motorcycles in the House... (Ask me how I know) It's riding them in the house that creates problems with the landlord....
  17. Ha Ha.. You remebered... He didn't have that trouble this year... He finished the 250 2 days before that show. Once again the Chinese Chopper showed up. Trent took home the hardware... BTW, at the show there is a photo album with more than enough pictures showing who is doing the work. Well except for the heavy lifting. When he starts restoring bikes larger than 250cc, he'll have to stab his own engines in the frame...

    1000S f/s

Put it in water and try to retrieve it by dunking your head under to get it....
  19. He is only as good as my checkbook allows....LOL We couldn't source another set of gauges. So he had to refurbish the ones he had. I don't have a before pic, but you couldn't read the Odometer due to the yellowed lenses before. He used 1/8" lexan to make the new lenses. Fortunately the gauge faces just needed cleaning. The parts after he powder coated them.
  20. He is keeping everything.. No sense selling anything. Buy em right and fix them up. That will give him a lifetime of investments. He picked up on the lacing from me. I did a set of wheels and he watched. He then figured the rest out on his own....
  21. Very sweet Bike... I settled for the Paul Smart for myself... Hard to call it a mistress though....
  22. So is that tire smoke or 2nd hand Purple Erkle? Either way, guy had to be under the influnce of something....
  23. It's an aquired taste... It's more comfortable when the front wheel is 2 feet off the ground... Smooth and Torquey.. It's like riding an a 600 on steroids....
  24. And at the first show with the bike along side his TS185
  25. My 11 year old son Trent finished his 2nd restoration project last month. Thought I'd share some pics of him and the 1973 Suzuki GT250 Hustler.
