  1. God gets them from the US bible belt
  2. That is contributing to global warming!!!
  3. Come on Ratchet!, let the sHooter girls join the cigar, hooch, and guns club, please?!?! PS crap what a waste of post number 4000
  4. Define recently I am sure when Islam wins WWIII they'll have a similar document. And their constitution will give them the right to bear arms and wear bombs
  5. We should just cancel @#$$#! Cheney and join the Communist Revolution It is also ironic that it is common sense to understand that the Iraqis have more reason to rebel against the US, then the US did to rebel against the Crown.
  6. They are quite a bit cheaper than the competition at $79 Combined with a $69 Hyperco rear spring, a complete re-spring is less than $150, but plus tax and shipping and labor
  7. I got tired of the HONK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and put my lid and snorkles back on. I now have to lean out my map as fuel consumption went down about one or two MPG. High speed runs seem to be a little slower with airbox lid on. But my hearing will hopefully come back so I can better hear the music of the Mistrals
  8. Alright Bill! Way to sock it to "The Man"! PS what are the militarybase rules on boots for motorcycles? Is it true they have to be steel toe and that standard race boots don't meet the law?
  9. "It doesn't bother me. Obviously, me being a devout Catholic, it's a conflict of interest. Then again, God supported David when he killed Goliath," Wilson said. "I believe God supports what we do and I've never killed anyone who wasn't carrying a weapon."
  10. I am sure Louis will make it to San Diego again. http://www.landlmotorsports.com/dyno.htm He has done dyno days a couple times at http://www.buymoto.com near the pyramid on Miramar Road. From what I understand he'll be doing it again...if the neighbors don't complain Dyno Dudes (Moreno Valley) would have been the next best thing to L and L, but I guess they went out of business. Lee's Cycles may be your next best bet, and I am sure they will claim some Guzzi experience, but I doubt it is anywhere near Louis' Guzzi experence. I personally would wait for L and L to come to San Diego or give him a call to find out when he will be doing something close enough.
  11. http://www.traxxion.com/ They claim to be lighter than racetech yet built to not soften with use. Racetech would be another source. But I have had no experience with either. For the rear shock Hypercoil® spring from http://www.hrpworld.com/Hypercoil6InchFree...;action=product is about the cheapest way to go....but no free spring installation.
  12. All those negatives are confusing me You are a God-fearing democrat! Wow! Which God? Why do you fear your God? Which democrats do you like the position of? Did you write "democrats" rather than "Democrats" because you are and advocate of democracy and not necessarilly of the Democratic party? Are you sure you are not the one with disregard for "what they want, what could be, what should be, etc...."
  13. I wonder if the CO trim was part of his tune-up. It does require the expensive computer program and a computer... It is wise in general to leave it set to US emission standards, but if you have this little problem it may be worth asking him about it. I am sure you could fix the problem with a small modification to the PCIII map, but I think it is more appropriate to set the CO at the ECU. If you want to try to resolve it yourself, simply TEMPORARILY use the PCIII buttons to enrichen it a little in the Low range. If it helps, undo the buttons and try to make the appropriate tweaks to the PCIII map. Or just take it back to Sean, as it may only take him 15minutes to fix it.
  14. I doubt the ECUs are different between 01 and 02. Todd Eagan, Cliff Jeffries, or Wayne McDonald might know... 03 was probably a transition year for the ECU because they raised compression and added an exhaust balance pipe somewhere in 2003(earlier 2003 in Europe). There were two titanium racing ECUs....I forget what the difference was for them Off idle can be effected by idle trim controlled by the dealers ECU software. If the CO is set to Euro specs rather than USA specs, it will probably feel better. Perhaps the dealer could reset your CO a little richer. And of course getting your TPS set properly is the first thing to check....after following Carl's advice Remember the TPS will effect the CO, so it should be set properly before adjusting the CO. Many dealers also raise the TPS above factory spec to enrichen the over all mixture. I would not recommend this unless you were refusing to use a PCIII or better. I am still waiting for TuneBoy to get the idle trim working.
  15. I thought it was funny Total exaggeration on the prices, but we are getting there. Can't believe you did not whine about the price of gas. the Guzzi ($20,000.00) actual price $14490.00 + $1000.00 dealer jack off fee + $1000 fee to california corporate controlled laissez faire socialist society + enough money for dinner for 4 at one of the finest restaurants in San Francisco, payable to DMV...so you still have money left over to pay for the following Starbucks for a cup of coffee($8.50) Get the drip coffee, it is under $2 and you can pump it up with cream and sugar. the oil ($25 a quart) From here Agip 4T is only $16.95 plus $6.50 shipping relays($50.00) PyroDan is only $14.50 for a full set DELIVERED!!! and fuses($30) Where do you shop, Ferarri dealer??? phone($335.00...not including full round the clock coverage which is $275.00 a month) HANG UP AND RIDE!!! Call tow service ($200.00) Only $100 in San Diego, if you know the right tow company... call cab($60.00) That is what I paid back from hospital with broken shoulder. a pot of coffee($1.00) Right now I am drinking a $0.33 bottle of Seagrams Cooler 5.75% alcohol!!!! FUCKING PRICELESS!!!! FWIW lists of prices that end in priceless usually have a Haiku like rhythm and a better punch line, but that was amusing none the less. I second the motion for a picture of a topless tart, or atleast your bike
  16. Can we have loose women who appreciate guns, cigars and booze? No cry baby whiners, doll coddlers, or nags???
  17. I often feel that when people tell me to shut up, they are censoring me. But that is their right, and your right to tell me to give it a break, but not the right of government. It kind of ends up in mop rule with the most vocal "winning" the argument. Now your talking! Now if you adopt my viewpoint, you will have my greatest respect! I have tried to find common ground with folks on this forum, but the bridge ends never seem to meet. My more leftward friends probably think I am an evil right-winger for thinking guns, hot rods, trucks, titty threads, and dirt and sport bikes are cool. And then the majority of this forum doesn't take kindly to my ideas of higher fossil fuel taxes (in USA), and belief that there are too many dumb asses with guns(in USA). Maybe we really do need Ratchet to start a manly man camp, if only to learn how to shoot guns and get drunk responsibly.
  18. It appears like they were smart enough to make it match the Sachs. I know Mike Stewart had to return his Penske Shock to get it to the right size and Chris Beauchemin's Wilbers shock rides a little high for my liking....so it is good to make sure they are getting the measurements right. It looks like a top quality shock. It is so difficult to chose. Thanks for checking
  19. Maybe you aren't taking your politics seriously enough. "I don't hate people cause of their politics, some of my best friends are racist neo-(con)nazi killers"
  20. It isn't so simple as blaming "the big brother won't let me smoke dope". I know it's your favourite bete noir, but really, big brother wouldn't exist without big industry, big transport and big population.
  21. Yah, kinda like after some the guy boasts how he enjoys commuting to work one one of the most dangerous bikes on the market, but it is no problem, anyone should be able to do it, simple mastery required. and some bloke, a member of the same club, mind you, or did they ostracize the guy? , walks up and says, yah, well you are little more talented than the usual yahoo that buys those bikes. Look at the insurance industry statistics that show that there are more accidents on this bike than Moto Guzzis, because morons buy this bike. This forum sucks. Even DOCC buys into this one sided opinion crap! There, is that more like the geeky FBI agent walking in all alone, flashing his badge, and saying your are all under arrest, into the Hell's Angel's annual clandestine gun show?

  23. Yah, if you are an above average intelligence, controlling, perfectionist. Pay no attention to the following link, as it was probably funded by LIBERALS http://www.kidsandguns.org/study/fact_file.asp
  24. Wow man, it is like an inconvenient truth. The answer, however unpalatable it may be for our consumption oriented and our armageddon nudging christians alike, is to increase the tax on oil, and put the proceeds into alternative fuels and being as financially benevolent to muslims as we are to jews. If some people want to blow muslim brains out with munitions, don't let them, it should be a peaceful world. The truth is plenty of people want peace anyway, regardless of the efforts of media, thugs and power brokers. I doubt they'll continue their hatred if we aren't so dependent on oil.
