I too, have a sport, but with longer Ohlins. Because they are longer, I could mount the convertibars on top. The convertibars need to grab more fork than the LeMans clip ons, so you may need to lower the front of the bike a little to get more fork. Make sure the front fender does not bottom out. Or just do what TriSpeed suggest and mount them between the triple clamps. They are designed to adjust very high, so go for it. The biggest things to worry about are that the handlebar movement does not effect the throttle, and that when the forks are fully extended, the front brake line is still loose. Hitting the fairing or tank will be self evident. Did you get the extended cables, etc.?

Isn't that frame kind of ugly? I guess if it works we'll go with it. The spine frame is a good design because it allows good access for repairs and service, and it works well with the V twin design. The spine frame is not likely to be as rigid as a semi-perimeter frame, like the Griso's. But I don't like how the Griso's frame bends around the throttle bodies and cylinder heads...but if it works fine, and is not too heavy, I suppose it is good. It just is not as pretty as a Ducati trelis frame, or any of Tonti's work. But I am prejudging, as I have not seen the complete frame.

Disney did not invent the concept of not killing cute things. They just took advantage of people's nature, the genetic predisposition in most species to not kill cute things. It it theorized and maybe accepted that babies of any species are cute so that we don't eat our offspring as it is bad for the proliferation of the species. The cute factor also entices the parent to care for the offspring. As the cute factor fades, the parent is supposed to cut the figurative umbilical cord...it does not alway happen. I think it would be a shame to evolve out of the tendency of not killing cute things. I think when kids see Disney films and films of animal slaughter, many of them do become vegetarians, until family and peer pressure pushes them back to "normal" behavior. KFC and McDonalds are savy enough not to post pictures of cute baby cows and chickens, although it might not be a bad marketing ploy to de-sensitize their patrons. I suspect the use of words like beef, venison, poultry, and pork are designed to seperate people from the fact they are eating cow, deer, bird, and pig. But the films of animal slaughter are much more likely to push them to vegetarianism than Disney. You still don't see many Disney films with beef, pork, and lamb in the leading roles. Disney generally casts animals that we don't eat. Most of us don't eat clown fish, bambi burgers, mickey mice, pluto dog, monkey, lion, tiger, pooh bear, bear pooh, or mermaid(but that might be tasty ). About the only exceptional character might be Donald Duck, which many people avoid perhaps because it is more expensive than chicken.

Guzzi has the same problems. If the factories paid the dealer decently for warranty work and first services, it would be a non-issue. If the factory did not give dealers incentives or discounts for moving more bikes, the price difference between dealers would not be so great, nor would the resentment. Small dealers make Guzzi great and competive in a market flooded by Japanese bikes Harleys, and inhuman dealers. I hope Piaggo understands that. You would think this Harley dealer could just accept a new customer.
