  1. Perhaps, he triggered the War of 2012 between Canada and The States.? I am pretty sure Canada has Oil and WMDs plus 51.698% of Terrorists in North America have connections in Canada!!! Oh, and they put gravy on their French Fries Lets smok'em
  2. You do know that Ben lives North of Toronto, wears a tuuk (sp?), and works for a brewery?!?
  3. I think he is explaining his earlier statement. I am surprised he has not brought up Bob and Doug McKenzie. One of the saddest things is that most of us American's will never admit that the American Revolution was a big mistake resulting in many lost lives. If we had just endured under George's "tyranny" for a little while, we would have turned out like Canada, or even better cause we would of collectively Whopped French butt, and Montreal would be Mount Royal!
  4. Some have experimented with routing a hose from there to some place with vaccum, like the air intake, or where you balance the throttle bodies. This would effectively lean the bike out...NOT a good idea, unless you are going to completely remap the system. But even then, I don't think there would be benefits. Although it is possible that the correlation of fuel and air could be more accurate??????????? I stuck a short hose on mine to reduce dirt getting in. An inline fuel filter would be an even better idea. But probably overkill...

I don't understand why anyone would want to ride anything but a twin I guess if you want ridiculous high RPM HP, fours rock, but I just find the sound of fours annoying. I'd rather have my conversation interupted by a pack of open pipe"American" cruisers, than listen to fours revving it up. The sound of Ducks, Gooses, and British twins cannot be beat, and even the Honda and Suzuki sporting twins sound nice with outlaw cans.
  6. Hmmm...the goretex® filter media (used in wet vacs) is an interesting idea! I suppose you would need more square surface area so the flow is not restricted, but it is self cleaning and great for wet water riders.
  7. Oh great! An invitation to get this thread snowballing!!! Here is my Ram Air is the way to go, and anyone who disagrees with me is going too slowly!!!! Furthermore, Uni is the ultimate! Not sure, why I am using the gauss filter
  8. I don't get it What did you put up? A picture of a beer after I just ate a bag of Doritos? Now that would annoy me
  9. ...and rake in a tidy profit!!!
  10. Alright TX, you have convinced me, he is the Anti-Christ!
  11. um, I seem to remember the war of 1812 differently. Didn't we fail to kick them out of North America? As for the American Revolution, wasn't that the birth of Terrorism and Guerilla Warfare? Or was it the birth of Freedom Fighters, and everything that seperates us from those Godless, no, Communistic, no, Freedom oppressing, no, Queen loving, yah Queen loving Canadians!!! Good thing we did not turn out like them!

    Sweet!
  13. For engine oil to reach the top of the crossover, it would probably indicate a leak in the oil lines. The OE engine breather line is a piece of cr@p. (In my Opinion) But if breather line goes, the oil will drip down the side of the crankcase, just behind the heads or all over your ignition coils. From the drip locations that you describe, it appears to be the gearbox and not the engine crankcase. Quite possibly from the gearbox vent located toward the back right side of the gearbox. To be sure, clean the bike, then run the engine till it leaks. But try not to go to fast, as the wind will blow the oil around. It could be dummy overfilled the gearbox. At least the gear oil level is a lot easier to check. I wish someone would make a site glass for our engine oil. But perhaps there is a reason not to I drilled some holes in my dipstick and this helps the accuracy of measuring it, but it still takes me several spastic attempts to insert the dipstick without catching oil from the side while holding the bike perfectly upright. Some have suggested getting it right, then measuring with it on the side stand and indexing the dipstick to compensate for the lean to the side stand. Not a bad idea....although not as accurate, it is more accurate than fuddling and getting it wrong. Another tip is to count how many turns to screw in, so when you unscrew, you predict when the stick will come loose so it will not hit the side or flop down into the lube bath. No double innuendos implied but these discussions sure to get full of double in you endo words
  14. Mine fell out about four years ago, so my memory is foggy, but I am pretty sure it is an M8 or M10, about 3/4 inch long. I replaced with allen heads(hex key) and lock washers. But Lock Tite is a better idea.
  15. Excellent points, but according to prophesy, he is much more than simply against Christ. He will assume world leadership, which make Tony and George possible candidates, but so far the prophecies seem to exclude everybody who is now in power....except Arnold Schwarzenegger. But my money is still on John Travolta.

    Urgent Advice Needed

Has anybody tried these? http://inet-rendezvous.com/MGNOC/karma_bells.htm When I first got my bike, I put some brass bells on the oil cooler bracket, and sure enough, within a hundred miles, I looked down and saw the oil cooler shaking as the bracket has broken. At first, I thought the bells were cursed bells, instead of karma bells. But then I discovered the brackets were a known issue, and failure was basically, inevitable. So, maybe the bells saved me from catastrophy, because I would not have looked down and seen the cracked bracket??????? Anyway, make sure she has bells. or atleast one. I know, youth today know more about karma than half of India. But knowledge does not equate enlightenment. So, if you throw a bell in her purse, or better yet, have your wife give her the bell, I am sure you will sleep alot better.
  17. The release of the MGS01 brings excitement to the marque® The bike is desireable but unobtainable. Eventually, street versions will arrive and the marketing strategy will have paid off. In the meantime, they took all our grievances about the V11S and created the Breva1100 which is a refined, more modernized machine that will lure some of the BMW and Japanese 4 crowd. This will bring needed respectabilty to the Guzzi image, before the MGS01 street version arrives.

Be sure to provide your daughter with condoms. But don't let your wife know you contributed to her protection, it will just make her more paranoid.
  19. I like the part about him liberating East Germany But seriously, he is NOT the anti-Christ. That dishonor belongs to John Travolta. Bob Marley said so, long before Travolta's "come back"
  20. A few people have posted such pics. Some of the best shots of the innards are here: http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3028
  21. http://www.galassetti.it/foto/guzzi/index.php
  22. From a marketing stand point, 100+HP (@rearwheel) is what Guzzi needs. To do it in the cruiser line, they need a 1500+cc. To do it in the sport line, they need a multivalve, probably with 1200+cc. And by the way, RacerX' black and red leathers match the MGS01 PERFECTLY Too, bad they would not let him keep the bike...
  23. How many internet forum members does it take to change a light bulb? 1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed 14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently 7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs 1 to move it to the Lighting section 2 to argue then move it to the Electricals section 7 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs 5 to flame the spell checkers 3 to correct spelling/grammar flames 6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ... another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid 2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp" 15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct 19 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a lightbulb forum 11 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum 36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty 7 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs 4 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's 3 to post about links they found from the URL's that are relevant to this group which makes light bulbs relevant to this group 13 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, just to add "Me too" 5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy 4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?" 13 to say "do a Google search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs" 1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again
  24. I don't know the UK laws, but I bet the Staintune, which comes with a removeable restrictor, might past the tests and be removeable for Off Road Activity. I have also thought that one could buy Supertrapps and take the OE slip-ons and cut off the pipe and weld it to the Supertrapps to make them fit. It might even be cheaper than many of the other options. With Supertrapps you should be able to adjust to your ear's content.
  25. I disagree. I am in love
