  1. Not sure what to think about this one without contacting the dealer to see if it is an error, or if they actually have an unsold 2000 Jackal on their hands... which is possible. It happens. The only photo (below) they show is the stock marketing photo. So maybe it is still in the shipping crate and not yet setup? I've reached out to the dealer to clarify. It might be an interesting opportunity since I've been keeping an eye out for one of the MG cruisers. 2000 Moto Guzzi California Jackal For Sale in Greer - Cycle Trader 2000 Moto Guzzi California Jackal Motorcycles Greer South Carolina MOT1176 (d2powersports-greer.com)

  5. What's the size and spec of that bolt in the event someone needs to replace it? Perhaps falling into the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" category, but I wonder if that bolt should possibly be replaced after X miles or years as maintenance?
  6. And the accessories are already coming for the V100: https://evotech-performance.com/products/ep-radiator-guard-moto-guzzi-v100-mandello-2023
  7. Yes, that's why I put the title of the listing in quotes, because that does not appear to be a Magni fairing. The fairing in the ad is probably one of the other various fairings we've seen put on V11s, but not a Magni. Here is a photo of a forum member's (jtucker) silver V11 Sport with a Magni, and you can see the clear difference in proportion and form. The Magni looks much better in my opinion than the fairing that is on the V11 in the eBay listing, which is very bulky.
  8. It befuddles my mind that somehow this photo is from almost 20 years ago. Where does the time go, and so quickly? 2005 just doesn't seem that long ago, but it was
  9. For those interested in adding a full-time oil-pressure gauge, Motratech used to make a kit, but of course they are now long out of business. But if anyone replicates (or already has done so) that setup on their own, it might be helpful to post a how-to with parts and then it can be added to the FAQ section.
  10. eBay: "2000 Moto Guzzi V11 Sport with Magni fairing." P.S. I don't think this is a Magni fairing, but not sure what type it is. 11. For reference, a Coppa Italia on "Bring A Trailer" sold for $9,946 on 4/6/21 and had been located in Alleman, Iowa as part of a larger collection. 13. I have no idea what the story is about how these came to be, and it would be speculation without asking MPH.... so I'll go ahead and speculate They could have arrived at or developed the adapters themselves just based on the realities of the dimensions of the part, or maybe they worked with "Turtle" to carry-on the production after he moved on? I really don't know
  14. I don't believe there were any changes to the v11 Lemans fairings and supporting framework for the entire run, but one would need to check the parts diagrams for each year to be certain. That being said, I suspect any would work if you were to get the entire assembly from one bike. Not that any of the following is completely helpful with your exact question, but I was just Goggling around about that "Coppa Lemans"/"CoppaMans" about a week ago out of curiosity, and it appears that more than one conversion may have been done or considered. So the links below may be interesting. There were some links to other forums from some of the threads here, but those are apparently dead now. The fellow ( manuelbig ) that did his was a member here for a while, and although he has been inactive since 2012, Jaap may have his email. If so you could reach out to him to see what he remembers about the conversion and any lessons learned. https://www.v11lemans.com/forums/profile/9233-manuelbig/
  15. Thanks and yes perhaps. The challenge in my situation is the number of modifications I have that may not lend themselves to a standard map or someone else's custom map without actually measuring AF across the map. I dropped him a personal message several days ago though to see what advice or maps he may have. I'm in no hurry as tuning the ECU and/or PCIII will be the last things on my long list, a list itself which is still behind a few other projects. But I'm just reacquainting myself with all this information as I start that process. See here for the modifications that may make using a standard or someone else's custom ECU map impossible or difficult. And I would actually consider reverting to using the airbox, but modifications I made to the fuel tank to "balance" the fuel availability makes reinstalling the airbox impossible. So we're sticking with "pods"... well the K&N's that have the long runner pods like velocity stacks. https://www.v11lemans.com/forums/profile/4-al_roethlisberger/?tab=field_core_pfield_19
  16. Thanks, but to be honest, too much time has passed since I've thought about these things, so I'm doing a bit of a reboot.... Now @docc ...he's the wizened elder I think

  18. If it isn't already, it might be nice to add the "Valpollini" metal/wire core gasket options to the "compatible parts" thread for the engine/sump gasket, valve/rocker cover gasket, and from the thread below perhaps even timing chain/gear cover. 19. This is an older thread, but might be good to update with what exact products and specific model numbers have worked well, on which gasket applications such as valve cover or sump, and with what characteristics such as non-setting/drying, easy to remove, etc. This could be a good FAQ or parts compatibility subject if it ends up well-documented.
  20. What a great looking Ducati that stands out from the more popular 916/748 crowd. Just slap some bags on it and it's a perfect tourer! I wonder if those are the same or similar Lafranconi mufflers that were on the Centauro and Sporti1100?
