Sorry AndyH if I did not read this till today.... We had an ugly spring, until last week, with a lot of rainy days and too much cold to travel. NOW it's a good period to visit Italy, June is a nice month, with right temperatures and sunny days. In september it will be amazing to visit Italy too but probably only in the early days, the first two weeks... This kind of trip usually deserves surprises and loss of time because of the many things to see not considered at the start.... If I were you I'd take the ferry Genoa-Palermo and then up the Appennines to the Alps, from the warming south to the chill north if you need I will be happy to send you detailed maps at least as regards the central Italy...

Today a lonely Christmas on the road, a tested ride to visit my old house in a small town "Caramanico Terme" Cold but I felt free and I breathed a lot of oxygen..... an old yamaha that will soon be in my garage ... a wooden structure in the national park that has incorporated one of the trees of the avenue .... incredibly crazy .... Today...just to jump out this ugly routine After a quick shot from Piazzale Michelangelo (a MUST for every bike I bring in Florence...) I've lost myself in the CHIANTI...obviously along the Via Chiantigiana Greve in Chianti Meeting a local beauty... Pit stop in my house....... Travelled in a super place...enchanting and full of harmony A stop to restore the level of the liquid ... Before coming to visit Siena .. An hour to stroll among hundreds of tourists ... before taking the Via Cassia [sR2] and reach Monteriggioni Always with my Guardian Angel... 225 km / 10,22 litres EPIC V35C "PASTORE ABRUZZESE"!!!!
