Carl blew a big hole in this transil diode thing awhile back . He basicaly said you don't need one if you have everything grounded right.
" What we have here is a failure to communicate " Completely dead battery.. don't bump start it's a bad idea.
Battery with some juice... Ok , but don't make a habit out of this. Get it Fixed .
Y'all are talking about 2 different things ( dead battery, faulty starter circuit )
Don't bump start a bike with a dead battery, voltage surge has been known to fry stuff & that's a fact Jack
Counter Point: I never knew it was on wrong until it was pointed out here Now like Carl. I too noticed that wires were always mushed, but figured it was real easy to plug & unplug the PC 111.
I bought one of the first PC 111's & was skeptical of its reliability . I think real world testing has shown that 99% of the time you're never going to need to unplug it because it failed . So Mike I think you should mount it like the new ones & if your worried carry a 7mm nut driver
Dave, it looks like you have things heading in the direction you want , so all I can say is
Oh yeah, we look forward to Kevin prospecting too I'll send him one of my private greeting cards when he gets here.
Some of the demo bikes at MPH have this stuff on 'em( see attached pic ) & it works real good fellar. In Tx most people wear them big cowboy belt buckles & they screw up the paint.
I'll hold my final judgement 'til I see it in the flesh but, right now I think it looks like crap The ass end is higher than a lot of dirt bikes & it's covered in plastic. That plastic chrome box under the tank has got to go Looking at the photos it looks like that guys knees are jammed in the valve covers, another bike for short folks
This is what they should have built years ago especialy if they wanted to go after the BMW crowd
I use the green stuff in my riding lawnmower because it has 2 ply tires & thorns puncture the cheap ass tires. I got tired of putting plugs in & this stuff works purdy good.
I havn't notice any balance problems yet , but I still have the governer connected .
I can't find that report, but it was suggested that we don't drink it. We've always used bottled water for drinking & cooking because the water from the well taste like crap.
They did say that in this area the findings were within limits set by the state & that a new well would probably be the same .
