  1. How'd your date with Red Angel go ? will she be modeling the Guzzi tube top ?
  2. No I've never purchased anything from OC nor will I. I also don't believe anybody would have reason to lie about their experiences with OC on the Wildguzzi site either This OC shit has been hashed to death anyway. I'm glad that they treat you right. Here's hoping that OC becomes the only authorized Guzzi dealer in the US
  3. Allan, if OC is the best dealer you have ever had, then I feel sorry for you. You might want to follow this thread to see how great OC really is. http://www.wildguzzi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8716&start=0
  4. That's a ? for MGNA, as I'm sure other dealers wonder why they can't get the same deal as OC
  5. Maybe Racer X ( Todd ) can make sense of this mumble jumble
  6. I came across this HID setup in the Nov / Cycle World issue http://www.jwspeaker.com/search.asp type in the # 8100 in the search box It's the first HID for bikes that has D.O.Tapproval, it's also the the same as the optional HID on the Victory. The magazine article states that is for 96& later H-D's with a 7" light, but would work in most bikes that light assembly would physically fit $399 usd

  8. That's badass!
  9. bump
  10. I think you should check out Fonzie's bike http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3653 Even if you're not Ricky Roadracer I think you'll appreciate the more compliant Ohlin's, plus there's the poser factor too
  11. Joe I ordered some from Summit racing for a CAI I was working on for my P/u. I think I paid $17 for a 12x24 sheet, but you can probably find something similar at a heating A/C place. http://www.thermotec.com/products/full/13500/13500.html
  12. Joe, I zip tied it to sub-frame. It's the IAT sensor , you want it mounted where it gets airflow , not engine heat. The cooler the air is the richer it'll run , but also it'll give a little added power.
  13. Haven't been to Seymour yet, but I've taken a few trips before , without leaving the house
  14. Ok I need some Antonio, mi amori
  15. For the DIY http://www.caswellplating.com/buffs/buffman.htm
  16. Lex, I've read those same reports too, but I don't believe there is a machine that can measure what the mind perceives . I've always been a night person since I can remember I have spent 28 yrs driving a truck,25 of those have been spent running a team operation , of which I have run the night shift. I'm always the first to try a new lighting product & have spent way too much $$$$ on this stuff. When your life & your co-drivers life depend on you & how well you can see things at night ( the last 13yrs that co -driver has been my wife ) in all types of weather, you tend to ignore those reports & make your decisions based on what you perceive. It's just like sunshades, some people wear yellow & some wear green. Here's a whole bunch of stuff 'bout lites http://www.webbikeworld.com/lights/index.htm
  17. I know there's no such thing as a free lunch when it comes to current draw, but I think it has something to do with depth perception. I used to have a Quota & this bike has serious lighting problems, especially at night with all the deer in this area. I replaced the stock ones with H1/ H3 replacements & the difference was dramatic I tried a different brand for the Sport & they were no where as good as the Piaa's. I got mine from here http://www.cbtimports.com/
  18. It's the same here
  19. Yep, there's a lotta polishing going on
  20. ME TOO :!:
  21. Drive 30 miles east to Eloy, get off at the 208 exit. There you will find the T/A truckstop. Drive to the back parking lot along side of the truck wash & you will see several groups of people polishing aluminum wheels & fuel tanks. You can probably get them done for $5 bucks a piece in less than an hour . There's a Pizza Hut right next door too. Don't go there in your Rolls Royce & your Armani unless you trying to impress the truckdrivers
  22. Agreed, too bad the riding season is so short. Brian is fixing to be colder than a well diggers ass
  23. Since your bike already had a Ram unit, it's possible that whoever replaced the clutch used the same bolts again . It's my opinion that you should always use new bolts on the flywheel ( somebody will correct me ) At any rate you might want to use some of Ed's bolts http://www.guzzitech.com/store/Tibolt.html
  24. I hear you Maybe Jaap or Paul will add the converter back.I found it quite handy
