  8. Yes Al, it moves the right side out If anything it makes it feel better for everybody thats got one I must have a before I can fork over $15 & this comes from you ( a guy who spent $ 1200 on his heads, with dual plugs that even Mike Rich told you not to do ) BTW hows that working out ? And now , I have to ask myself - self what phuck'n difference could it possibly make to Al which position his pegs are in ? Al , you dont ride the thing anyway
  9. I bought Ken's kit & it worked for me, but I wear a size 13 shoe. Some of the ballerina boyz didn't care for it. Hey it cost $ 15 how ya gonna go wrong with that price? Ian used the Centauro Pegs & brake & shifter set up , big $ & the Centauro brake pedal is on terminal back order, however Mike at MPH had 3 billet brake pedals made up & may still have one. Do a search here and you'll find Ian's write up on this.
  10. I used pegs off a Suzuki TL 1000, but if I had do it again I would the Kawasaki pegs like Rich. Also the smoke turn signal lenses off a Quota are the same as the Buell. Make sure you get the inside reflector & the yellow bulbs otherwise it will still look goofy when you turn em' on
  11. Jeff moved to Nebraska?
  12. Contact Todd or Mike at MPH , they had 3 of the cases the last time I was there. I dont know if they have to be sent back or how they handle it.
  13. Cap'n please have the Dr adjust your medication

  15. Damn! why did'nt I think of that ?
  16. No , I never have that type of info I jez took the breather into the hardware store & went to the brass fittings in the plumbing section, you know where they keep all that stuff for your well
  17. Bob , Mph has some big ass machine with a exhaust probe & all that multi meter crap built in Anyway heres a good description of the process http://www.mphcycles.com/frame11-technical.htm
  18. Mph is also a Benz & BMW car repair place & thats what they use. He also has the moly additive, but with the synthetic gear lubes this is really not needed, but & always the but so I wont start a oil thread it cant hurt
  19. I removed the stock breather & used a brass nipple I got fom the local hardware store . I then added this breather and ran it up along side of the frame. http://www.xrsonly.com/html/rod_bearings.html
  20. When I got around to installing the PC111 , I already had Mistral cans ,stooki crossover & K&N pods. There was only 2 places in this area that would dyno tune , one was HD place that wouldn't touch the Guzzi & the other place was jap crotch rocket dealer that made me feel real nervous . Gruff but loveable Mike loaded a map that he got from Todd & the results were mind boggling, it would pull the front end off the ground 3 to 4 ft with just throttle in first gear.I lost a couple of mpg but the performance improvment was more benificial to me. I can only imagine what it would have been like with a proper dyno tune. I'd like to add that Todd at guzzitech offered to hold the guys hand at the jap place to make me a custom map ,but I just felt uneasy with those guys.I also swapped the pc111 on my sport to my Quota with no changes & rode it around & it run a hell of lot better too.My opinion which I know doesn't mean shit to most of you is that you really owe it yourself to try one If I had a laptop I could do this myself ( thats how easy it is to change maps ) They now have a gizmo that uses a 9 volt battery that allowes you to load maps off your pc in you trailer & go to your shop & down load a new map The new USB model is even more flexible Theres no substitute for a custom map , but you can get pretty close with the availble maps
  21. Al , I have a freind that works at the " Johnson Space Center " I showed him your post & he agreed with mik.
  22. Man, you must have overdosed on that " Lucky Charms " cereal. ( Billy Bob ) formerly known as Tx Redneck ) Which Texas did you think I was refering too? Some folks think we is backwards
  23. Jason, are you saying that your guzzi is overpowering your tire at high speed? I too experienced this same phenoma on my Solex At speed week at Bonneville. Anytime I got to 20 mph it would start to lose traction. I thought my bike was way to powerful , but one of the old timers told me it was just that the salt was to wet. betcha you dont know what I was doing at Bonneville see related story http://www.cfi-us.com/media/redracernews.cfm
