  1. Very nice bike Thank you for sharing its creation.
  2. Looks a good price with so few mls(km???). What to check??? Brake pads rear brake(usually lasts only 5k), check front crossover is solid/ not leaking... Go for it
  3. True, but there is a given method..like in music ppl learn the right way to play but at the end comes out the personal way and interpretation. I think the reply to the post question is yes....maybe....no depends on how much you have played with the adjustment procedure.
  4. ehmmm!!!sorry here they are SM/Agostini
  5. My guzzi is there among other guzzi stuff from Hellenic Moto Guzzi club http://www.youtube.com/user/v11cafe
  6. Left screw touches the butterfly so by screwing in (clockwise) you alter the idle (only left cyl) , so bye bye balance but worse it changes the TPS overall value Playing with the white knob among other things, alters part throttle balance also. So no wonder it acts strange. Info and many links about throttle body balance, TPS etc http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?...=13426&st=0 http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=12056
  7. You'll make someone happy.. I have five in the garage and wife screams ...hell
  8. I'll try to arrange it, Hellenic Moto Guzzi club...might be there
  9. ..I have done it also, no prob although valvoline is better for our trains/trans
  10. Hmmmm...then I cannot help you Dealers should know what they are doing(...pray)
  11. I don't know the history of your bike, but if all parts electrical ....around are OK, then some simple tuning may bring it back to normal. I suppose you have already checked 0 angle TPS(150mv+-10). Could you tell me what is the mv reading, key on/eng-off/rod disconnected???
  12. There are no bad guzzis, only faulty parts or not properly adjusted engines Since you have checked battery, regulator, grounds, etc, maybe it needs a good tuning from the start. I understand that all your problems lie below 3000rpm and at start up, from that point on bike rides OK????
  13. Good post I need also front disks for my Corsa and if someone knows min thickness.
  14. I follow Ratch school.... MG stand and an office chair wheel permit me to drive my V11 even on the stand
  15. I'll try everything u suggest when I return...so we can compare numbers tps at 100mv..etc V 11 stays home since I'll travel with my... mule(Mille gt), or the Cali...direction Alps and maybe Mandello at the return trip... although in August MG factory and museum are closed. Greek islands are ...super but u don't want to drive a Guzzi there.. sun and sea all day yes...but I prefer to tour the Alps.
  16. set tps zero angle 150mv key on/eng off everything disconnected, then set RITS at 465mv (just a start value) ....and disconnect multimeter, ....connect throttle balancer, and balance with LITS..if idle rpm is low increase RITS..balance again with LITS.....and so on until u r about 1000rpm idle and balanced. Now connect rod. and do part throttle balancing with rod screw (bypasses closed )and balance finally at idle by opening the bypasses. Sorry for the mistake....I edited my previous post and above is the right version. When u use both RITS and LITS , balance at idle is done with rod disconnected. Bike has no problem because you use a start tps value, so the engine can idle. Now for the zero tps angle 150mv...correct me if I am wrong From what I know...the potentiometer is one of the ...spies ... of Ecu. Ecu has a fuel map and an ignition map flashed from factory ... takes reading from tps in mv which translates it in throttle opening angle..(top on the info from other sensors) then corresponds the angle with fuel and ignition map... So for a stock V11...... or better for any weber 15M ....150mv is zero angle as Moto Guzzi suggests. Bikes leaving the factory are not set for maximum performance..they have to pass emissions to be civilized , but still have enough power etc. From that point u can play with the zero tps angle. But what happens when u go to smaller values 100mv or higher 200mv+??? I think that with tps 100mv Ecu reads throttle closed so injectors give less fuel... like at idle and timing map is almost 0. Bikes usually run best when u come close to the border between rich and lean mixture. So if u feel that bike is better with 100mv the reason may be that with the PCIII u have added much fuel at low range and when u reduse it with that trick(100mv)...bike feels better. Also u have better economy... But it is only a trick...not the rule.... 150mv is right Now when you use say...200mv happens the opposite ecu reads that throttle is open ...injectors give more fuel while u are still at idle but timing is more advanced than u need... a V11with no PCIII...open cans and filter...may run stronger that way but it will not be smooth frm idle to 5500rpm(???) because timing will be off , when at full throttle the bike would run better..timing map is at the peak fuel max....so no prob. If u have the time read the FAQ section of http://www.fuelinmoto.com.au/ The people know the theory..and explain it 100 times better than me. I am on vacation so.... V11 is saved from my experiments for the next two weeks.
  17. The bungs on the stock pipes are for CO testing,...gas analyzer tubes connect there.
  18. Just to give you an idea.... set tps zero angle 150mv key on/eng off everyhthing disconnected then set RITS at 465mv (just a start value) ....and disconnect multimeter, connect rod. ....connect throttle balancer, and balance with LITS..if idle low increase RITS..balance again with LITS.....and so on until u r about 1000rpm idle and balanced. Now connect rod. and do part throttle balancing with rod screw (bypasses closed )and balance finally at idle by opening the bypasses. What I mean is don't look at multimeter during tuning... tune the bike and then check (out of curiosity) with multimeter tps idle etc. Adjusting tps zero angle (150mv)with engine running...is a torture for ur bike I wouldn't do that Wait for ur finds
  19. Explain that...don't really understand it
  20. 1/I bought Ti kit from TLM Holland....I have no part number http://www.tlm.nl/ 2/No...exactly like the standard..flashed by the factory with Ti map 3/I have the stock cross over...but I plan for the Stucchi...gives something more 5000/7000rpm 4/Works better in small tracks with many curves.. u can keep up with 600 4 cyl Japs only bad thing the handlebars...don't help much when u lean out of the bike
  21. I have Ti kit on my 2004 cafe sport....kit consists of 1/two cans 2/Ti ecu 3/two short pipes ( from can to crossover) 4/two shorter hangers What I like is: Good quality...well made Cans weight a lot less than the stock You don't get burned anymore (big temperature diff) MG logos/looks Sound ....nice and not annoying Easy to install you have to be careful since there are two Ti kit available one 2000-2002...and another for later bikes Performance improves not much in low range. but you feel difference from 5000-7000 only sound ....gives you at least 5hp Passenger foot pegs are higher,... not very good for tall people at the back seat. Tuning remains standard like every V11, but to avoid some part throttle pop/baf etc(1000-3000rpm) you have to adjust trim level at 4% to 5% CO...the Ti ecu has a different fuel and timing map

  23. Rossi..gave a show again... he is the moto gp spirit....whole grid are good drivers but Rossi alone outshines them
  24. S3 ....is a v11 if u compare it with V7 sport engine minor changes from sport to S3,...but three disks...another story. I would go for the sport,...because I love my hair to get white...every time I brake
