Ti pipes and Ecu are definetely different. My cafe sport (2004), worked perfectly out of the box. Now, with the Ti kit...I don't know...tried to adjusted Guzzi way(instructions mention 2.9 TPS)...idle was very low, and lot of baf!baf! in throttle bodies at idle ,...tried the forum's way ...Tps 3.8...better in idle (1100 rpm),... but still missing...(baf!) occasionaly and think it overheats( the pipes got a nice blue color)....believe it's leaner than before. Wish, I could bring it to your service manager...it's such a nice bike when it works well. Is 2.9 the right TPS setting for front crossover bikes 2003+?My bike is closed loop with lambda. Any info welcome...

Hey nice story....Let me tell you the other,.....my grandfather many years ago, bought a guzzi and he came home from the dealership with 30km on the clock. Next day he lost the keys, and because he believes strongly that God gives ....God takes, he never got another set of keys. He just washes ...the bike now and then and admire it!!!! That explains the low mileage for his Guzzi. Dont you believe me????

When you buy a Guzzi, you buy looks, sound,...history, exclusiveness, myth...fairy tales...horror tales ....you buy a hobby....passion...money pit (for some..)...beautiful pictures coming from the days you saw the ...first one and they give you a honest /good bike as a bonus. Considering all, a Guzzi is not that expensive... If you see it just as another bike, ....well get rid of it...it's not that good

Think in 1971 the police v7 made the difference. Is it true that half the production for every year are California....s???? I try to figure out how many v11 were made in 2004, when I bought mine.... That's really limited production, .....not like others who give 2000 limited/special bikes. Luigi does.... all he can...

Exactly my feelings, I know the road to Germany with 31000 Euros in the pocket, but I would prefer that Guzzi offered the bike. Sorry for my shouting!!!!!!!!!

The spirit of Dave Richardson and Guzziology, shared by many people around the world is the reason that Guzzi survives always and everywhere. Modern looks with classic technology is not a bad thing. anyway I don"t see something much better offered by the BMW or Ducati ( I mean the air cooled engines), in terms of road behavior or HP, now that the 8v is in the market. Also, in Europe (...don"t know in US...) Guzzis are better priced usually, than the equivalent bike by Bmw or Duc Norge-R1200RT, Stelvio-R1200GS-Duc Multistrada, Breva 1200- BMW R1200R

Anybody out there running MG Ti kit with Stucchi crossover??? I have the MG ti kit,....and I want to add the Stucchi,...but the bike goes real well, and I don"t want to spend money,...for no result I would appreciate any opinion for this combination (Ti+Stucchi)

M3 is my favorite, but for real life where you don't want to pay for tires every 4000 km, Diablo Strada and Z6 are the best. Diablo is a little better in wet , and grip is enough for everything unless your name start with Ro..and ends with ...ssi. I"ve done recently a track day with Diablos, and although I already have them for 6000km, they were safe and you could easily lean the bike to the end. Truth is that tire evaluation is a personal thing, because depends on the way one drives

180 radial in the back,....means sport touring,....even if it can cope with easy dirt roads, who wants to destroy such a nice tyre on gravel??? Looks to me closer in pliloshophy with Duc Multistrada, than BMW GS, .......which is not bad at all

This is something I didn"t check when I had the sump out...I"ll have a look at it...

Truth, I have a timing chain, not gears in front,....and I've never opened it to check the condition of timing chain. Could that be?

Coppery coloured I think.Size was not uniform , but most of them were 1mm about, irregular shape.

I changed the oil,.....and there where small metal particles in my sump. Passed a magnet over them,... nothing!!!! Does anybody know or guess, what parts non-magnetic can go wrong, and end in the sump??? The bike doesn"t yet...!!! makes any special noice, or something that indicates a problem, apart from the particles in the sump. WARNING!!!The bike is not my V11 , but my Mille gt with 80000km about.

A V11 is certainly not political, otherwise it would have been a very bad bike, politicians lack imagination. Religion ...maybe... we believe, ... but it is not the same , nobody says "V11 ...help me", when things go to hell. I joined this forum for the exchange of info ,ideas, ....fun concerning V11 and Moto Guzzi in general. My posts have nothing to do, with anything else, so I don"t feel I owe an apology to anyone. I see that some people who cannot understand the aim of this forum have already apologized, for posts that I am not even aware of, because I don't read ...EVERYTHING, but STILL that doesn"t justify the personal e-mail I got yesterday, ........UNLESS JAAP your message is not the obvious one...
