Todd / Greg, are the VIN's for the units you worked on available? Might be helpful to isolate the range. Thanks, Phil P Atlanta GA '02 Le Mans

Should be good. FASTER has turned into one of my favorite DVD's, nice to see that this is another effort from the same chap. Phil '02 Le Mans Atlanta GA

Great bike, lotsa fun, but after speaking with a few owners and hearing the tales or woe and intrigue from members of the advrider.com fraternity, I've crossed the KTM off my short list....... Phil

Watched the program last night - overall, they did a pretty good job. Strong on presenting the history as well as making the point that the bikes are still put together by humans, some of which are second-generation employees. Really played into the Guzzi 'family' side too, much like Harley has done (rather sucessfully) over the years. After watching, I had to go out to the garage & pat the Le Mans on the tank a few times..... Phil Atlanta GA '02 Le Mans

Make mine silver please.......where exactly do I send the check? Phil Atlanta GA '02 Le Mans

Bravo! Great stuff indeed. Jaap, anyway of setting this up like the last V11 video ~ left hand side of the homepage? Maybe we need a Guzzi video tab, hell I'd love to set up a camera on the Le Mans and run GA 52 / 60 Wolf Penn......wholesome family entertainment you know. Phil Atlanta GA '02 Le Mans

Advise the company that you wife works / worked for. Their Legal beagles will probably want to get involved. They will give direction as to what you should do (or what you shouldn't do). You probably will need a copy of the police report as well. Sounds like someone is trying to get into the company's "deep pockets", not necessarily yours. But I could be wrong. Thanks to all for the input. I think I'll clean her up really good than try the sealant while I order a gasket. If it holds up great, if not, I'll take it from there. Right now, the most important thing is getting my son's riding gear together so that he can try out his new toy, just picked it up today for him....

Better yet, have MG fund a series much like aprilia did here in the states with 250's a few years back, everyone on the same bike with contingency money from the tire, oil, and aftermarket suppliers. On this side of the pond, it could run as a side series during the AMA race weekends. Lease the bikes to the racers or sell them at an attractive price. Would give MG some much-needed market exposure without blowing their brains out against Japan Inc. and the Bologna contingent. Phil

I tightened the various fasteners, but no joy. I'm thinking about putting a black rubber ball or something of the like between the instruments and the screen, but would be glad to hear from someone of another cheap and easy fix ... that works. On the bright side, knowing what has been doing this is a great (albeit somewhat embarrassing) relief. Thanks. Bill Bill, my dad used to say: "Tighten the screw until it starts loosening up again, then back off 1/2 a turn". Don't know if that will work in this case, (where's Wayne when you need him) but it sounds like you've found the frequency where items start resonating. If you can find a small sheet of Sorbothane locally, use this in between the screws, nuts, instruments, flyscreen, and anywhere else you can think of to dampen the vibrations. I believe that Parts Express sells Sorbothane (or a similar type material). www.partsexpress.com Phil

Back from a ride this fine Atlanta evening, I noticed a fair bit of oil on the right side of the engine case (see attached photos). For those that have experienced the same, can you recall what gasket(s) will be needed and just how much work / hours were involved to replace? Looks like last season's sealing with Yamabond is failing..... Thanks in advance, Phil

Glad to hear you made it through ok. We just had one touch down last weekend, 'bout 4 miles from the house. Took out a car wash, garage, and generally wrecked havoc. It was Norton (our dog) that woke me up a few minutes beforehand. I thought he just needed to have his morning squirt. Once out in the front yard, he started pacing back & forth across the front yard, tilting his head in the general direction of the twister. Just then the Cherokee & Cobb county tornado sirens went off. We got back into the house, got the bride & junior, and headed into the basement. Ten minutes later, it was all over with. We had one stong gust of wind, and that was it. No rain, hail, nothing. And even that was too close for comfort in my book. I give credit to all of you that live in Tornado alley & have to live with that excitement for 6 +/- months each year. Good luck, let us know if there's a local relief effort we can contribute to. Looks very interesting. Is this a new piece from Magni? Do they realize the V11 line has been superceded by the Breva / Griso? Might have arrived a bit late for the prom with this one.....

Oh boy. First off, congratulations on the news of becoming a dad. Secondly, you might want to look at advrider.com, as this topic has been chronicled on a regular basis. In any event, all reports are that Triumph really has it's act together, comes down to preference & your relationship with the dealer.

I repeat... IS NOT DOMESTICATED.. meaning, she cant take care of house or wash clothes... PLEASE someone... trade me a bike for her, I dont care if it runs.. I will deliver. this is in or around Kennesaw

As of now, just 299 tires left, so you better hurry ...........I figured that for a grand total of $150 (front & rear), delivered to my door, it's a pretty good deal. Now if I could just get the bike out of the shop & go ride, I'd be a pretty happy camper.

Probably won't. I looked high & wide after seeing one at Road Atlanta (but not buying it) during the AMA Superbike races. I thought about sending a picture of it to the folks at Vanson to see what it would cost to make one up like it, but never got around to it, find myself wearing the Aerostich more and more. At least going the Vanson route you could specify liner / venting / etc... Phil Atlanta GA '02 LeMans

I'll have to check that out, as my Chase Harper is starting to get that "old tankbag smell". I'd like to find one of the M-G bags, but I've heard they're pretty scarce. But I'd really like to get a puppy. That would be really nice. I like puppies.

Ours is the same way. Prefers lagers.

Check out the Oxtar Matrix or Infinity. I have the Matrix (from newenough.com here in the States), and have been very pleased with their ability to keep my feet dry & comfortable. Phil Atlanta GA '02 Le Mans

I'm suprised (with this bunch) that no one has mentioned Yonni just to be a @#$$#!. Actually, I'm pleased that we haven't sunk that low. Yet. Radio in Atlanta is so dreadful that the Warden purchased a Sirius satellite radio gizmo for me as a Christmas gift. I'm actually enjoying the programming, the blues channel is top notch. No Yonni station though..... Phil Atlanta GA '02 Le Mans

Well, I'll be the first of the Atlanta contingent to chime in, Hagen & V50 are probably still out riding, as it's in the low 60's here..... Only 4-5 hours to Cary from here. (Yeah, I just had to be a @#$$#! & state that for those that are snowbound....yet another reason why we got the heck out of the Northeast & live here now) Phil Atlanta GA '02 Le Mans
