  1. Possibly a Long Sleeved T, size XL. Bob
  2. Yes, I believe you are correct. She thinks because I wanted Maund to redo my seat that the old one was broken, same with the exhaust which is why she says to just buy a new one....she thinks there must be something not right with my old one. They are funny creatures. Bob
  3. I think I have read here in the past that many members have their idles as high as 12-1250 rpm's saying it helped idle cut-outs etc. Mine is set and normally reads 1,800-2,200 rpm's FWIW. I agree to check the TPS as it should be on or near 3.6. Bob
  4. Hi Tom, a new crossover is next on my "toy" list. Getting the new cans without the crossover probably doesn't really make that much sense really? My wife is funny......everytime I do something, new Maund seat, Tidy, exhaust, etc she says......"if you want a new bike just get one". She doesn't get-it that I would be doing the same things with a new bike. However, maybe I need to turn her "get a new" one to translate to get a 2nd one......... Bob
  5. Hi - For used....there was a set of used Staintunes in our classified section. Still expensive at @ $500 but 50% of new. Bob
  6. Hi and welcome - FWIW, several folks have removed the end caps and drilled some holes in the ends and then put the caps back on. Can't tell you did it and I have heard folks say that it makes the stock exhaust sound better. I have also read someone that attempted to take it apart.............based on that post...........do not try that. Best of Luck, Bob
  7. Hard to describe the sound difference. They are louder.... but not really by much if that makes any sense? Sounds is more mechanical or rumble(y) if that is the right description....you can hear the engine better and not like there is a paper bag over it with the stock exhaust........ but still not obnoxiously loud.....kind of like hearing the valves on our bikes. You can remove the baffles which I have yet to do to see what that does to them.....prob try that this weekend just to play. I always like Staintunes as I think the stainless looks good with the "slower", silver model V11's. . But was never really a fan of the whole "can" appearance and this gives the bike a more classic look IMHO. Bob
  8. Yes, just put on last weekend. Not titanium! : Bob
  9. What I have read as well.
  10. Hey NakedV - Post a pic at some point so we can see it on your bike! Bob
  11. Bill, A guy here on this forum that works at Moto International in Seattle. He says he has seen more than one Guzzi where the filter has spun off inside the sump. Although many do not see the need, I added a hose clamp like this after my first oil change. $1.97 insurance policy. Post some nicer pic's when you get a chance! Bob
  12. Might be on the higher end of what I have seen recently but so much depends on its condition. Also, IMHO I see the green ones fetch a bit more. Bob
  13. Hi Bill, Very nice - Love those green ones! Bob
  14. I am only guessing but must have been the one on eBay from AR...it had about 17K as I recall. Think it was around $5K. Very nice looking bike!
  15. Hey Bill, Congrats, but you do not get off that easy.............we need a pic!
  16. Hi Dennis, I think I have read that the seat pan can hit or rest on the PC545 causing it to leak. Other folks will chime in but I think I recall reading that somewhere here. Bob
  17. Ok........off the top of my head..... I think I recall in "Guzziology" that there were an initial 300 made and I think were numbered on the side covers and I do not know the serial number range. Then an additional 300 were made without numbering the side covers. I think I am recalling correctly.? Others more knowledged will chime in I'm sure! Bob
  18. I have read in other posts I think here or at wildguzzi.com (by folks/dealers) that they are not doing anything if I remember correctly. Bob
  19. For sure, I do not ride as many do here in the types of weather you encounter. Although we get showers nearly daily during some times of the year, they are short and usually predictable. I have never taken a paper-towel full of dirt of the big mud-flap the 3 years I have owned her so for my use this application is a nice aesthetic upgrade. Bob
  20. Todd, Spaceclam charged us $115.00 delivered. The light on the Custom Dynamics website is $40.00 I believe and it must have cost $6.00 to ship and $5.00 or so for materials so I think he worked relatively inexpensively IMHO. The thing is strong as can be. He previously made a different designed eliminator for the Griso that many folks bought. He said it really simplified things by leaving the "welded" tail that holds the lower fender on. Others he looked at removed that piece like FBF and someone elses that he looked at on-line. He also made some awesome looking dipsticks, not sure for our model for maybe $30-35.00 or around that $$$ so he is a talented guy. I suggested he investigate fabricating a well-made braket of some sort using standard frame attachments that would allow us to attach an inexpensive hugger of some sort because now with the ugly fender gone, the big plastic hugger is an eye sore as well to my eyes. I saw some old post here where someone mounted a generic carbon fiber hugger with a bracket of some sort that he fabricated. Scott, You have got to be kidding me........it is a disaster in that picture!? If you look very closely, their are TWO golf pulls carts, she prefers to ride a cart so I do not need the extra one as well as the extra set of mountain tires for my bike which currently has road tires...again extra stuff that I am not using that I do not need that are cluttering up the garage......not to mention that she couldn't pull her car in the garage when she returned home that day of the pic cause I was playing with the Guzzi in her parking spot! It really is a mess in there Bob
  21. I agree....it was a gift from the Mrs..........I plan on polishing it when I get a few free hours! Bob
  22. Hi All, Got the fender removed! Very easy, Here is the before Pic. Bob Also, I think he has a couple left over should anyone be interested. His username is SpaceClam over at Wildguzzi.
  23. Hey Skeeve- I am trying. Today is a bust. Golf this morning and guest this PM. Have a shot for tomowwor but should be no later than Wednesday! I will say the quality of the unit in incredible! Bob
  24. It is an LED light bar that he chose. http://www.customdynamics.com/Light_bars.htm I just recieved mine and I am quite impressed with the quality of the guy's work. He played quite a bit with the design. Most eliminators he looked at removed the lower fender along with a upper portion of a frame piece (if this makes any sense). He was going to go that way but thought this version looked better (but maybe it will not be as bare looking as let's say th FBF model). Anyway, I will post pic's when I have it installed. Like I said, I know most folks here have had their bikes a while and have already done something but thought this was worth sharing. Bob
  25. Yes - I thought better before I sprayed my speedo cable with wd-40 that I really wasn't doing anything.....remember, I said I was the hack here! But I am learning. Shockproof is on my list for my next change this spring and I understand no need for the moly with that stuff too.....hopefully I understood that correct! Will lube my cable with my 80-90 that I had left over from my last change. Bob
