I think I know of the bikes and dealer your talking about. If I remmember correctly he has several and wont negotiate on the price as I asked him a couple of months ago. Personally don't think its worth spending that money on an 'old' bike.

Hi! Raising the bars is a popular modification so I'm guessing that there must be quite a few folks out there with their original clip ons, fork heads out there without a use for them. Well I'm looking to put the original bars back on my bike but don't have the bits so if anyone is selling them give me a pm! I've got a 2001 V11 with the silver forks. Thanks.

Hi there. The tank protector on my Guzzi looks crap and is peeling off so was wondering how I could remove it without damaging the paint work to put a new one on? I'm guessing hair dryer or something that heats it up to remove then clear the adhesive off with petrol or something? Dont want to damage it! Any info is appreciated!

About this trans gear recall, how can I tell if its been recalled already?

Oops got confuddled. Here is a picture of my purchase. Standard except for the raised bars and light fairing. If anyone has a oem top yoke and clip-ons they don't need give me a pm. One thing that strikes me about the design, surely the rubber tank protector gives an ideal place for water to sit? Also, the front engine mounts are rusting a bit and wondered what colour of red would be a near enough match?

Aye aye. Was thinking about purchasing a ground anchor that get installed into an in-situ ground bearing concrete floor slab. Was hoping to kill two birds with one stone by giving security to my bike and get something knocked from the insurance premium. Anyone know of such a choice? Cheers

Hi, really want a V11 and went to see one today. I was looking at the frame and noticed that compared with the Factory images the frame below the fork seems shorter. I've highlighted in this photo what I mean. Wondering if some bikes came like that from the factory? Also, do the rocker covers 'flake'? Cause he seems to have touched them up. Its a 2001 v11. Everything seems to check out ok, he's had the relays replaced and ecu replaced. Done an HPI check and it hasnt been registered crashed or anything. Any info is appreciated. Cheers

Hi, thanks for the info. Its a 2001 model and has been 'converted' to raised bars. Unfortunately the previous owner converted it and the present owner doesn't have the original parts. Its a pity cause I was looking for a standard bike. Apart from this it is standard.

Hi, This may be slightly off topic but can these 'raised handlebars' be easily reconverted to standard bars? I'm going to look at a V11 sport at the weekend that has 'raised bars' but don't want them basically. It says that you need to drill the yoke to fit them so I'm guessing to revert it to standard you need a new yolk. How much are those? Cheers
