  1. I think I would get it apart and the go to ordering stuff . BTW , can you post a pic of the head . Pete , or anyone else , are these cylinder heads prone to doing this ?
  2. No , these are not worth inspection , RELPLACE the bolts on both ends .
  3. The pivot pin I have measures 17mm loose on the pivot . 20mm on the threaded portion and the hex nut is 30mm on the nut size . I used wrench openings to measure the sizes . My hillbilly micrometers . The long bolts I hid from myself .
  4. I have some spare stuff . Give me some dimensions . There are two different sizes of the swingarm pivots and I need a dia. & length of the trans mount bolt.
  5. So far ?
  6. Yeah , I bet you listened to it. Jus' like I did ! Trivia , that girl was extremely pregnant in that photo !
  7. Some stuff needs to be just loud enuf to be heard . Herb Alpert , Al Green , etc. should be like that .
  8. It is unusual how so many members have similar bikes .
  9. Well , they took the ugliest bike ever produced by MG and turned them into something pretty good looking !
  10. IDK anything about these bikes . Are these hydraulic or cable operated clutches ?
  11. I have been sorting metric/standard bolts/nuts/washers for about 6 weeks (to keep my sanity also) now and I am still sorting things out. I have tried keeping all the MG stuff together just wanting to keep them together. Those bolt thread sort tools have been a savior !
  12. I hope you keep all your old fasteners that you remove from the bike and keep them in a safe place ?
  13. FWIW , remove the spark plug and inspect it . it is probably damaged from the crash. Also, check the spark plug cap . Remove the (unscrew) cap from the wire and check the resistance ( I think it should be 5k) , and look for a tear in the boot.
  14. Just throwin' it out there for you
  15. The best color you can paint it is : hydrographics ! You can have it dipped in a CF coating and it will look RIGHTEOUS !
