My 87 SE has that style odometer , so I am going to say this should be correct . Now , I am not sure about the miles on the bike. IDK about the tach , I have not seen this style before ?

Well , I have finally given in to two "styles" of TPS for this fuel injection system . There is a linear potentiometer and a logarithmic potentiometer . The linear sensor is in a setup to where 1/4 turn gives you 25% , 3/8 gives you 37.5% of scale ....etc. The logarithmic potentiometer is like a humpback where 1/4 turn may give you 25% but 3/8 may give you 50% of scale . Hmmm . I like Classical (yes Classical ) when I am concentrating , old stuff any other time , Framptom Comes Alive is probably the best to listen to (IDK why) . After that , anything goes !

Ther was this kid I grew up with and he had a 66 model CB160. He rode this a million miles w/absolutely no maintenance . The seat spring broke and he stuffed a pillow up in there to make it tolerable and the handlebars broke and we use a section of galvanized pipe for handlebars . IDK when he finally got off of it , I suppose when he started driving ? AFA Pirsig's bike , I never knew it was a Super Hawk until later in life . I just assumed H-D or a British bike . I now see how he had time for philosophy instead of vocabulary !

What do you need to fix the GB ?

I did the half rubber number in my 87 and did a bunch of whittlin' on my black frame bike . Stopped because I could tell no difference . I do think running 1/2 the amount of rubbers would weaken the system and cause you problems in the long run. If they made softer rubber pucks , I think I would go for some BUT they don't so I will find something more important to worry about.

I hope she keeps this young optimism . I wonder if The Beatles are popular w/all ages there? You wonder what they listen to because you can find out people's feelings in their taste in music . I'm not sure if that was mayo or what she was putting on those burgers but you got your money's worth !

I was around one and one only . Orange w/just enough parts on it to run. Flat plane crankshaft triple and it was bad to the bone ! It looked like the one in the upper photo . I gave my buddy bad advice and told him he should get rid of it , parts would be scarce . I wish I had kept my mouth shut .

What caused you to post this ? I went back and read EVERY post in this thread . I realize how many members are no longer "involved" and how much "we" have all changed and not changed. p.s. if you want to keep someone from reading a book , just recommend it.
