  1. I had the tail section done this way and it is perfect !
  2. The pressure regulator is vented to atmosphere . The vent hose(s) could be one of two that goes to the underneath of the tank that vents fuel or drain from the filler neck . It could have the other mess of vacuum hoses that I can't help with . The holes in the air cleaner housing are the previous owner's innovation .

  10. What fuel are you using? I had to pay $12 per gallon for Sunoco alcohol free race fuel, ouch. www.pure-gas.com I think is the website you can use to find alcohol free pumps.
  11. Blue Loctite....Red is when you are never going to touch it again.
  12. Anything I have that is not operated on the highway and used year 'round gets alcohol free gasoline. If you have worked on something that has been out of operation for some time that any amount of ethanol you will understand. The ethanol is VERY hygroscopic and captures moisture then bad things happen.
  13. I would go with the PPG product and use alcohol FREE gasoline.
  14. I am not close to my bike . You could remove the starter and give it a look. If you own a Scura and it has the original clutch assy. it (as with all MG parts MAYBE it is ) is aluminum.
  15. Let me guess.....less than 500 mi. on the tire ?
  16. It is for low current ( non sparking ) connections . I have used it for about 15 yrs. It is very pricey . A 15 ml bottle is from $60-90 . It is one of those things that must be good because you have not had troubles w/these connections.
  17. The portion you are looking at is the flywheel ring gear . It is not aluminum . The flywheel itself is what you need to be checking.
  18. Anyone else used Stabilant 22a ? It is a connector conductivity enhancer . I use it on very low amperage connectors .
  19. I use Motorcraft electrical grease or tuner cleaner ( aerosol ) for these purposes. Changing gears.... What is your opinion of Stabilant 22a on electrical connectors ?
  20. Grant co Fairgrounds . John Day , Oregon ( I think )
  21. My MGNOC rally took place at Olmsted Dam working. HAVE FUN !
  22. f you are going to do good / thorough troubleshooting , get a good test light and a good analog multi-meter. The test light needs no instructions but the analog meter requires knowing which terminal to plug your leads into and which scale to read.
  23. oh yeah , mine started as a black sunrise at about the 5:00 o'clock position in my left eye. I was stubborn about it and (scared) waited before doing anything . I am grateful I can see & the only drawback is , it looks like I am looking through a dirty lens in my left eye. Again , I do hope everything goes well.
  24. I had a detatched retina in my left eye a couple of years ago . Your vision is very important so I hope you get a good doc & have good results. If I can ask , what has to be done ?
