  1. What fuel are you using? I had to pay $12 per gallon for Sunoco alcohol free race fuel, ouch. www.pure-gas.com I think is the website you can use to find alcohol free pumps.
  2. Blue Loctite....Red is when you are never going to touch it again.
  3. Anything I have that is not operated on the highway and used year 'round gets alcohol free gasoline. If you have worked on something that has been out of operation for some time that any amount of ethanol you will understand. The ethanol is VERY hygroscopic and captures moisture then bad things happen.
  4. I would go with the PPG product and use alcohol FREE gasoline.

  7. It is for low current ( non sparking ) connections . I have used it for about 15 yrs. It is very pricey . A 15 ml bottle is from $60-90 . It is one of those things that must be good because you have not had troubles w/these connections.
  8. The portion you are looking at is the flywheel ring gear . It is not aluminum . The flywheel itself is what you need to be checking.

  13. f you are going to do good / thorough troubleshooting , get a good test light and a good analog multi-meter. The test light needs no instructions but the analog meter requires knowing which terminal to plug your leads into and which scale to read.
  14. oh yeah , mine started as a black sunrise at about the 5:00 o'clock position in my left eye. I was stubborn about it and (scared) waited before doing anything . I am grateful I can see & the only drawback is , it looks like I am looking through a dirty lens in my left eye. Again , I do hope everything goes well.
  15. I had a detatched retina in my left eye a couple of years ago . Your vision is very important so I hope you get a good doc & have good results. If I can ask , what has to be done ?
  16. I despise oil filters that use o-ring seal on the filter base instead or the quad ( square ) ring . I have never seen one that did not relax and allow the filter to loosen. p.s. I know you will not remove the manhole cover again but do not use any solvents on rubber when cleaning them. A good clean rag and cover them until you use them. After years of experience in making things grow to the point they will no longer fit , no solvents ! 0
  17. The idle speed is arbritrary any way. It is strictly for foreplay while doing your walk around before taking off....
  18. I am terribly sorry to hear this. Your insurance ( I guess ) will not cover this procedure ?
  19. Working with good tools , ones with history or character give the user a sense of empowerment , character , humility and a host of other feelings that new tools cannot.
  20. Leave it alone.....looks better .
  21. Did you get tired of looking at your elbows ?

  23. It can be straightened but I would have the carrier's insurance eat it .
