  2. Hondabond is ( I think ) a gasket eliminator. My vote is Hylomar or CopperCoat on the gasket surface .

  5. Probably so . All bearings that are produced are metric . The 25x52x15 part # is also the bearing dimensions . I.D , O.D. & width . The 6205-2Rs should have those dimension.

  7. That strong looking rubber mount is a pu$$y . Mine has been off for a long time.
  8. When you go for bearings....drop the 6 from the bearing prefix . It is a light duty version of the bearing. Instead of 6204 use 204 . Check them at your vendor to verify this,

  10. I don't know how many are made of stainless steel . A lot of stainless is brittle and it will crack . The big drawback !

  13. You need to understand this "personal modification" will never stop........
  14. First , the rubber appears to be good. If it is o.k. then , take a flat file and file the surfaces flat on both sides of the inner portion and reinstall .Tighten the bolts to the correct torque and go !

  16. It can't .....a resistance increase will not raise current so it would decrease the possibility of blowing a fuse.

  18. malengi , You should look to see if a washer is in a parts diagram illustration to see a part # .
  19. You would see if it was a dimple pushing out or an indentation actuating the switch . This will show you that it was mechanically operating the switch.
  20. Uhhhh. I followed his silver frame all day & I can say it's quicker than mine ( or me ) anyway .
  21. I don't know if their VIN sequence is meant to be understood ?
  22. Tilt the bike and remove the switch. You will see what the switch is actuated by.
  23. I had to remove mine & clean w/contact cleaner . Reinstalled & all is well. That was a couple of years ago....
