  1. When we changed insurance companies we got these little toys too . HE double hockey sticks NO . Not only do they get your driving habits , they can provide them to all other providers.
  2. It is not just Deere & Co. doing this . Highway trucks , offroad equipment , just about anything computer controlled has this "feature" . I understand a Co. keeping this technology "unavailable to the public" to keep farmers from "fixing" things. The JD dealer could have sent someone out w/a scanner and diagnosed this guy's problem and helped him get going. You have to adjust your schedule to accommodate people . Do understand , what you see on this computer may have or may not have happened . My SnapOn scanner cost me $10k + $150/mo subscription and I am not going to loan it to someone and let them use it and bring it back messed up.
  3. AFA farm equipment , Deere & Co. lets you know , you might own the tractor , combine or other self propelled equipment BUT they own the technology . Hmmm. FWIW , when the Russians (or whatever they now go by) liberated all the green equipment a neighboring Country and took it somewhere else , after a week or so ALL their self propelled green stuff shut down and would no longer run
  4. I worked for this "Helen Reddy" and was instructed to open an oil filter so they could examine the contents of an oil filter . I was required to use a "whizzer" or air powered cutoff tool to disassemble . I told said boss that using that tool would mess up everything leaving grinder mess everywhere . Boss told me they could ignore all the debris and still make a good evaluation.
  5. Mmmm. post the video of him opening the oil filter(s) please .
  6. I like your last sentence !
  7. At my age I wonder if they make Depends in Guzzi red ?
  8. IDK what happened in your case . i usually shut it off hot and go to it. I don't like to leave the oil drain for a long time. Do inspect the filter you remove and inspect the mating surface where the filter goes to make sure everything is all clear . Also look at the filter you are installing to verify there is seal/gasket going back on. If you want to keep up your habit , remove the oil press. switch and plumb in a hose so you can purge the air and see when it primes . Do mount the end of the hose so oil will not go everywhere when it primes. Shut it off and reinstall the switch .
  9. H/D is the worst . If you make and or sell a wooden board , metal stuff , clothing w/anything resembling Harley Davidson or orange and black , they will shut you down .
  10. IDK the good points / bad points on a Griso . Roper would have more weight on this subject than me. If you are looking , get an objective / subjective opinion . Don't buy it because it looks good .
  11. If you are apprehensive , drop it . Like walking into a room and it doesn't feel right , Get up n go. The Vette and the other bike look pretty good , but this is your decision .
  12. It's a pretty sharp bike . I think George Clooney owns (or owned) a black Griso . It's been a while ago.
  13. Looks like they have a full variety of products and you can find a vendor or straight from them . There are no more electronics stores or shops around here to get things , loaf and discuss things.
  14. Do you recall the final settings ?
  15. I've never used the Caig product . If it is readily available you should get some and give it a go !
  16. A LOOOOONG time ago Channel Master tuner cleaner was the way to go. You may have to go to eBay for that stuff. For now , if you can find a Radio Shack that still exists or someone that has any NOS , Radio Shack sold a good tuner cleaner . If you can't find any I will send you some. There is some cluck on eBay selling a 4.5oz can for $200+shipping . Unless this has a mixture of DMT and STENDA , I don't think it is worth it ? WD-40 is marketing a tuner cleaner but ..............
  17. Live like I do , ride it til it sputters , learn how to lay it over to the left a little while , ride it til it does it again . REPEAT . Ride it til you get to gas AKA petrol .
  18. I will text Robert and see . It is The Legendary Kimbro's Pickin' Parlor at 214 S Margin St . Franklin , Tn. 37064 It's close enough to call it Nashville........
  19. I am sorry to think they will do what Cannondale did w/their dirt bikes and inventory . Bail and fire sale .
  20. David Byrne reminded me of Sheldon Cooper .
  21. The first time I saw them on SNL I knew they were my kinda weird !
