If you get these in Europe you might be happier w/them. The ones I purchased here are narrow and I don't like the looks of as much as what comes off the bike . Get plenty . 6 , 8 and 10mm sizes . You will find them coming in handy .
What I have seen about Guzzi bikes . Everything on them AFA fasteners , cotter pins , anything is first class product. No flimsy junk like you find at parts stores.
That is a Schnorr washer , you can get it through a local fastener store if you don't want to spend the $$ on UPS or FedEx charges.... what ever you want to do . I may have some in my stuff. Finding them will be a little chore
Mmmm. this is why I do what I can do myself . I am 68 yrs old and I learn new stuff daily . I do not trust anyone else unless I am watching . BTW , what part # washers are you missing ?
Any time a musician can sit on a stool w/an acoustic guitar and perform solo , he has somethin' to say.
Ahem , now I know why he sounds like a young Willie Nelson when he sings "Crazy" .
It must be a hard place to live where every club you walk into has a real musician playin' real music all day long and all night long ! This boy did a good job on Before You 'Cuse Me . I really thought I was hearing a young Wille singing Crazy . I will have to listen to the rest and finish my comments .
I guess there are worse things than a Largemouth Bass coming off the hook just about the time you go to pull it out of the water and into the boat !
Also if you say M@*%&#%&*^$r and nobody hears you , did you make a sound ?
A small amount of wear will make a large difference . You are improving the clearance only the distance you are moving the lever on the shaft. Trust me , the only repair you can make (for now) that I would trust is to drill through the lever/shift shaft and install the double roll pin . You want to do this in a drill press to make absolutely sure you have a perfect hole the correct diameter and the hole is true. If the shift shaft is 16mm or 5/8 diameter you can use a 1/4 roll pin and you will not hurt the integrity of these parts.
p.s. You will want to drill this hole parallel to the pinch bolt .
