You need to come the US. You HAVE to ride as though you have been having an affair, her husband found out and is going to get you. The only problem is, you don't know what he is driving. Unfortunately this is the safest riding philosophy I have been able to practice.

The unfortunate thing is... we have had to maintain a new car every year driven by a fossil fuel because it something changed there would be a financial crisis. Things really went to hell when we had a sudden surge in fuel prices. $4.00+ per gal. here and it broke the back of our economy .It took every penny of spare change of the common man including me! It took more money to get to work than you were earning. Now without any reason fuel prices are falling. I wonder why?

WARNING .. Hot subject material.. The problem that exists now is different than any time in the past. As far as automobiles, Toyotas are made in Ky. and chevrolets are made in Mexico. This Nation and it's (middle and lower income)citizens are out money.Traditionally our leaders are prostitutes that will do anything for $$$. All of the money has through trade defecits has finally left the country. The problem with the auto industry is nobody can buy or is scared to buy from layoffs or closing. If all manufacturing facilities close and go to another country everyone gets laid off who can buy if they are out of work? You can purchase nothing here that is not "made in China". The quality of materials and machine work is pathetic. Whe I was growing up China was a Communist country and our enemy? By the way we have borrowed from our new friends ALL that we are worth to "play war". Every sentence could be discussed for days. I am one of a few that has optimism that this new administration is going to be able to stabilize this problem and to correct it.

It's easy.Hopefully the tank is NOT full! Remove the 13mm head bolt at the rear (hopefully you removed the seat) of the tank and start picking up on the rear of the tank. disconnect what stops you at each stage of removal. When EVERYTHING is disconnected slide the tank rearward just a little and remove the tank from the bike.Have someone with you to help the first time you do this.If you want to modify the airbox or replace the filter(s), now is the time !

Sorry for not getting back in the post quick enough. The BEST tool you can use to find a draw or drain is a bulb or test light. Remove one of the battery cables and put the test light in series with the battery cable and battery terminals. If there is a current draw the test light will be illuminated. If so remove fuses until the light is extinguished. If and when this happens check a wiring diagram to see what the circuit controls.Reinstall the fuse and start disconnecting components until the light goes out again. Be deliberate and methodical about this and you will not make any mistakes. Electronics stores sell cleaners,solvents,lubricants,etc. to help to salvage any switches that might be in poor shape. Good luck and keep us informed! p.s. the term "short" is the most misused word in electronics.

It does not appear you have installed a PowerCommander module. When you go to MI (i hope they sell them) have them to install a PC module and "map" it for your bike. You will not regret it!

I noticed you're 50 yrs. old with two dirt bikes. I was 50 when I broke 4 ribs,1 big toe,sprained my right wrist,bruised my right heel and donated my RM 125 to my girlfriend's son. p.s. For those of you who have never ridden a dirt bike, only Pegasus could feel any better!

Afer readind an article in the area newspaper about a local owner/operator of an aircraft dying because of the oil filter backing off and losing oil. This taught me it is not that big of a deal to remove the pan. I do and will attatch a hose clamp to the filter after installation. A buddy was servicing his Jackal and found the filter "finger" tight. A hose clamp is $1.00, how much is a rebuild?

You said #545 came from the US. You can you go to carfax.com and for $ enter the bikes VIN to get state licenscing history any DOCUMENTED wreck history. Or you can research through former owners(good luck) any crash history. falling of the stand? You could drop this thing off the top off your house and it shouldn't hurt the trans. case.
