You say you relocated the fuel pump and filter. What did you do? where did you move them to?

it's the voltage regulator. The alternator produces the voltage and the regulator controls the amount of output going to the battery.

Are you sure about that? 100 milliohms is 0.100 ohm......

Why don't you and your friend become BMW mechanics. get a service and parts manual , a good work stand and go to town. Anybody can tear something apart. The challenge is getting it ALL back together and in order. I saw a buddy put fork seals in a K100rs. I think it had Showa's. He unbolted the lowers and left the fork tubes in the triple trees.SLICK! IThis might work on this Beemer too. They make pick-up trucks and cardboard boxes, if you get in over your heads.

if it sounds like it's coming apart with the clutch lever pulled in, it is perfectly normal. If and when I have to replace the clutch I will figure out why it is making a noise like that!!!!!

How many are members of MGNOC ? It's not large , but you get a newsletter and membership list. The same quality people as this group comprised of people who can change their own oil,etc...... p.s. I understand there is a MGIOC(sp) honk if you are a member there also!

When You install aftermarket parts you MUST install PowerCommander and have it mapped for the bike. If you have a dealer/tuning shop around you have them do the mapping. I did and it took care of ALL my problems. When I took it to have it mapped the shop owner informed me to disconect the PowerCommander , if my problems went away, the problem would be in the mapping of the unit. I cannot over emphasize how much you need te assistance of a qualified person doing this for you...

This does NOT sound good..... Do you own a parts and service manual? You might contact MG Cycle. I thiink they repair Marzocchi suspensions.

Did you draw a pattern on paper so lazy people like me could trace it onto a metal plate??????

Do you have any accessories,modification,etc...? My answer is Yes to the custom mapping. I hope you have a Power Commander ECM installed. If so, take it to any dealer who has training to know how much,at what RPM to modify and what to look for. If no one has tinkered with the throttle bodies go ahead and look at HOW to make these adjustments. You will be glad to know how to do this.

Are you sure you didn't come through Ky ?

If the bearing failure was from lack of lubrication, it was the fault of the vendor not MG. The bearing is a sealed unit and is greased at assembly of the bearing not installation of the part.

That is the factory recommended tire size?

After taking the fuel tank off of my bike to look for the infamous (loose) neutral wiring connector, I noticed the fuel pump is located on the frame side rail. The filter is located on the top of the frame rail. Looking at servce manuals and parts manuals it shows the opposite. Which is correct?

I see where Rich Maund is Ebaying his 93 Cali 111. The article states he is selling due to arthritc issues with his left hand. Does anyone know anything more?
