  1. Noooo. the omly way to fix this is with a new one. It seems like this seal and Deoxit are not compatible . I use Motorcraft electrical grease . It is available through Ford dealers . the compound is made by NYE lubricants . This stuff is for computer circuit boards , aircraft applications , etc. High tech and a fair price . I use dielectric grease in spark plug boots & that's about it.
  2. You gotts do what you gotta do !
  3. A vented system will keep the rear end at a constant ":pressure" and you will not have TROUBLE
  4. TE Connectivity 282087-1 AMP Superseal 3 Position Plug Housing | Waytek (waytekwire.com) Eureka ! And you will not break the bank with this price . I purchase a lot from this place . They sell quality parts .

You do want to keep it conservative with changes . You don't want to end up with John Lennon's Rolls Royce. Little things will be noticed by the people that need to notice things . Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk
  7. My bike came w/the K&N setup. I didn't like the noise and reinstalled the factory airbox. You might replace the air filter once every 3 years so don't worry about it .
  8. That's the same place I ended up with.
  9. I think I have found a source for the TPS connector seals . www.customconnectorkits.com Look through til you see the AMP section. I hope this will work w/the price WAY less than $5.00 ea.
  10. OOOhhhh the rod , yeah it will just drop out , put it back in , you're good !
  11. Maybe you dropped piston only . can you reinstall ?
  12. Hmmmm. Explain . did you lose brake fluid too ?
  13. I used a 8mm hex socket & it broke loose w/no trouble. Use a good ratchet & cheater pipe if you need it .
  14. Oh yeah , what are the dates for this pow-wow ?
  15. Is this a form of extortion / kidnapping ? I don't remember us putting the finishing touches on your bike and comparing the Guzzidiag to a TPS reading ? BTW , the SnapOn scanner has a 4 channel scope too !
  16. Art , you are at the right place . Feel free to post as much as you want . Everyone is here to help .
  17. I looked through my box of connectors I gleaned from wiring harnesses through the years and found one Metri-pack that I think you can use the seal . If you want it , I can send it to you ?
  18. Not Weatherhead .....WeatherPack or Metri Pack ....neither style has the seal separately .
  19. It ain't good , whatever it is .
  20. I found nothing either . IDK if the Weatherhead connectors (GM) sell this seal and if it is close enough to interchange and use. If , not , you will just have to buy the connector and use the seal .
  21. Where was this pic taken ?
  22. I didn't like the fact that I had more doors than anyone there & my hands would not cooperate . One thing I can say , we could have changed out wheel bearings (Kale's) , changed oil pan gaskets, clutch job , adjusted valves , synchronized TBs ,replaced swingarm bearings and just about anything else because I can do one thing right . Load a truck up for a service call ! Oh yeah , jump box , battery charger and scanner for overheating vehicles .
  23. BTW , don't drop the screws in the fuel tank when you install the new cap . They are stainless and all the magnets in the world won't stick .
  24. Those Alpina wheels are about as common as dinosaur bones
