If it matters , Aerostitch on Bibendum might have helped IDK . I do know I need to practice my squats . 2020 was when I had my knees replaced and I just haven't ridden until about 6 weeks ago. My knees will not allow me to put the balls of my feet on the pegs , SO I will have to practice , practice , practice .

Well , yesterday morning I pulled into the Waffle Hut to stop for breakfast , came to a complete stop and couldn't get my foot off the peg fast enough....timber . Remember Arte Johnson / tricycle incident from Rowan & Martin's Laugh In . That was me. Bike did pretty good , L.H bar end , turn signal lens , spark plug cap are the only apparent damage. I didn't = dislocated / separated / torn shoulder or something and this HURTS. The good thing - I have kept all my string of get-offs at < 1 mph intact.

These fork seals on USD forks have the least amount of "tension" I have ever found on anything labeled as a seal so these need TLC. The most attention , the most care , the best fork oil , the BEST seals PERIOD . I remember reading an article on USD fork maintenance where Yamaha was recommending removing the seal spring ang cutting X number of turns out of the spring to get a better seal and reduce seal weeping. Be careful when you are working on these forks , one bad move w/a screwdriver , hammer or anything can leave you with a pile of scrap.

IDK what the humidity is there. Around here it is almost 100% from June-October. When it gets hot here you sweat through your clothes just standing around.

My Godfather took a trip to Alaska is a camera bug that loves to waste film on a trip . Not this time , every turn , crest , horizon , EVERY picture was the most beautiful scene I had ever seen until I looked at the next pic. I can't remember the farthest point north but he took a picture there proving his quest and conquest was finished . He then returned taking pics just as beautiful of his return to Barlow . If at all possible , I would like to follow this voyage and see these sights.

Stop talikn' like that . I have never had food like that . the only exciting foods i have had were farm cooking and soul food cooking . These are both wonderful menus but I am sure there is more. although candied sweet potatoes from a farmer's table or ribs from a backyard full of brother's is making me hungry right now .
