  1. You build a holder that will hold the crank so it will not bend while in storage .
  2. Uhhhh , FWIW & after the fact , older mower shops can straighten crankshafts . Yes , straighten c/shafts , as in the snouts . People used to run over everything and bend the cranks . I never saw it done , so I am not sure if it is straightened in the block or removed .
  3. Scotch 33 or 88 ONLY , none of the cheap stuff

  7. You could give it a try .
  8. Are there no fastener stores in your area ?
  9. BTW , just how "bent" and how did you remove this bolt ?
  10. Go to a fastener store and try to find a bolt with a non threaded length to suit your need . You can cut to fit your need . Take a hacksaw and remove the "extra" , leaving a couple of threads and spray this with whatever you feel comfortable with . FWIW , When the shock bolt is tightened , the only thing that is gonna "move" is the rod end on the shock . Yjis bolt and everything it tightens becomes one piece .
  11. Keep in mind ALL that prefix and suffix stuff means EVERYTHING . You don't buy the best price , you buy the best quality for the application . Do your research
  12. You live in a pretty good size city , are there any hydraulics stores around you that can hook you up with the correct o-rings and material .?

  15. What brand did you go off tangent with ? Just for discussion's sake ; brakes are going to wear pads or rotors . Something has to "wear out" .
  16. Please explain . You don't give much to work with .
  17. What year motorbike is it ?
  18. This happens more often than you need to know . Check the old filter when you remove it and check the surface where the filter mounts .
  19. Now , if you are going to use one brand of oil filter , find a "cup" that fits it and tighten your filter with it EVERY time You are going to have to develop an "aircraft maintenance" quality method and workmanship . If not , you will end up disappointed and have a 800lb. piece of junk
  20. Remove the oil pressure switch , crank it up . It should squirt out oil .
  21. As far as the HP claim........ anyone can say anything . As far as the $50k price tag ..... $49k and I would have been in . Duh
  22. What's the red toy in the background ?
  23. One of the most perfect bikes ever made
  24. '.030'' is the recommended air gap . You should have an assortment of gaskets to get the right gap .
  25. The unfortunate thing about this subject is ; there are the riders that are using the Odyssey battery and there are those those that rationalize why not .
