  1. FWIW .you need to keep up with your purchases and get a rider on your insurance policy ...... I added a rider to mine and it is the cheapest thing you can do . You will be furious for an insurance company to pay you $3500 for a $12k investment .
  2. I made my first one before I saw this . I just made an extension that the extra distance would clear the frame and used the two holes in the original lever and used two 6mm bolts to mate the two together . This was so if I didn't like it , I could go back to original .
  3. Sorry to hear . Pick-up truck you were driving ? Who is the Guzzi Dr. ?
  4. My 87 SE hits like a 50 cal. pistol w/every combustion stroke , twists to the right with a blip of the throttle and the rear rises under acceleration with a powerband above 5k you would feel once in a lifetime and I wouldn't have it any other way !
  5. Also , back in the early 90s the GM 2.5l 4 cyl. had the filter in the pan . and a manhole cover to access it.
  6. # 1 the filter is located IN the oil pan because it is the best place to put it . Make sure you use a GREAT filter and get it tight .
  7. Ohlins are the most righteous looking forks of all time
  8. Cleaning w'the Seal Mate ? Yes . You can Youtube it and watch a couple of videos by the Company .
  9. My Greenie looked like that . After five days of running for 10 minutes and oil changes every day , it cleared up .
  10. Yuck !
  11. Mmmmmm. How about repairing the problem ?
  12. It will surprise you how easy this works .
  13. These come down a LOT easier than you think .
  14. I assume it will fit a 2000 ? With all the hardware . I will take it .
  15. Can you have them painted in clear to bring back the shine ?
  16. And , how much ?
  17. loosen the air filter to throttle body hose and push it back into the air cleaner housing . Open the throttle body to wide open . Turn the key on to pressurize the fuel system . watch to see if the fuel leaks from the injector or the injector to the throttle body seal . Then decide what to do .
  18. That is a pretty good price !
  19. Not all the time ....
  20. In a few minutes I am going to cut up a section of Pig-mat and zip tie it on the leg to catch the weeping to keep it off the bottom of the fork and onto the wheel . It allegedly takes a little while to seal up .
  21. Buddy , there is no guarantee this will fix . I am still tryin' to contain my r.h. fork seal leak .
  22. Same here . #1 these seals are LOW tension seals .Remember that . You need to be absolutely sanitary when you do this . Micro-fiber towels an all . CLEAN the wiper seal too . What ever is between it and the seal will go right back into the seal and you will do it all over again .
  23. Hey , I am a member of i-atn and I had a guy piss me off so bad I wanted to drive about 600 miles and set his house on fire and shoot anyone that came out , I blocked him for a couple of years . Got to reading his responses to help requests and realized he was usually right . He just had an undiluted way of answering . He is now my best friend and I took up for him when he was gonna get barred from the site .
  24. WD is a joke. I use a lot of different sprays and I will give it a try .
