  1. I hope you are installing AC Delco (premium) spark plugs ? AC changes #s when they go to a different electrode plating on the center / ground electrodes and other improvements .
  2. Now , explain your tps setting . Did you set this at COMPLETE closed throttle plate ?
  3. Be VERY careful installing any roller bearing . They cannot tolerate any axial load . Remember the spacer problem from the past !
  4. Yeah , you will have to use the document for the brand . My SKF stuff doesn't break the suffix down for the part # suffix you posted .
  5. You got me on y or n on the recall fact . Don't take the chance , if your on top of things DIY !
  6. Go to a bearing website and see . I had a SKF paper printed , lost it . The suffix will describe quality , high speed or not , grease quality , etc. Don't think any 204 will do . Don't think the $7.95 bearing is as good as a $19.95 bearing . Do the research , do you want to be on the side of the road or in your driveway enjoying Eric Clapton on the CD player while you and your friends are discussing the day's ride ?
  7. Buddy , you ain't the only astonished man on this planet .
  8. ROZ ?
  9. A battery mower or a mower battery ?

    I just watched it !
  11. Maybe you should see the Youtube "Brasilian Grannies" before you say much about that subject .

That is a LOT of work and beautiful workmanship . What is your profession ? And I don't want a short answer .

  14. If you want a short shift that clicks like a Japanese crotch rocket , this is the device for you .
  15. I hope everyone knows all the input is given to help a brother get everything dialed in on his bike . This valve adjustment is simple when you realize you are adjusting valves on a single cylinder bike . Then you are doing the same thing on the other side . I've never looked for the marks , just bar the engine over to TDC . Set the valves , repeat .
  16. That would be a personal opinion . I do know I would like to have one with Ohlins suspension to see if they are all that . There is one thing I KNOW , every time I get near my bikes , I cannot see why these bikes are not in everyone's garage .
  17. IF you are adjusting these correctly and you know it , don't worry about it .
  18. We are installing a part that will make the shifter require less movement . YOU WILL LOVE IT !
  19. Onibaka , can you watch a YouTube video in your language on this procedure to keep it simple on your end ?
  20. I see you have changed your avatar ? You will get this sorted out , just don't complicate it .
  21. Make absolutely sure you are at TDC . Put a screwdriver into the spark plug hole and verify you are reaching TDC while you are rotating the engine . You want to KNOW it is at TDC before you adjust valve clearance .
  22. No , you want the piston at TopDeadCenter . when the piston is at it's maximum travel , then adjust the clearance of both valves . Good luck
  23. "If" the camshaft were wearing , or any of these components were wearing , the clearance would be opening instead of closing . The only time clearance closes , is when the valve stem height goes "up" or gets taller . As when valve seat or valve face wears . Don't worry about this for now . Please make sure you are taking these measurements at TDC compression . Remove the spark plugs so you can rotate the engine . If you have a bike stand , get the bike up on the stand and put the transmission in high gear , use the wheel to rotate the engine to get the piston on TDC . One TDC will give you valve overlap , the other will give you what you are looking for . Adjust these valves and go to the other side and repeat the procedure . When you are finished , Take a break , then recheck your work .
  24. Can anyone post a pic of this hammer ?
