  1. You would just have to Google a parts diagram to see how it works
  2. Either one . After the advent of emissions and emission controls laid all over the engines , you would follow the service manual and bar the engine over unit the # 1 cylinder valves were overlapping and adjust certain ( I used to remember ) valves , rotate the engine 1 revolution until # 6 valves were overlapping and adjust ( I used to remember ) the rest . Install the valve covers and all the clutter & you were done .
  3. Yeah , SnapOn used to sell these clips that would go on top of the rocker arm so oil wouldn't shoot out the tip of the pushrod onto everything . I'm pretty sure I still have them .

  18. HMMMM . That's like a little crack in a windshield or being a little pregnant . This driveshaft has to be perfect . Try it at the matched paint marks and see what you come up with . are you pulling the driveshaft to grease it ?
  19. My personal opinion . I want the throttle blades to be exactly the same PERIOD any multi carb motorcycle ( in my opinion ) wants the throttle angle to be the same . on my bike I set them with CLEAN throttle bores and throttle blades . After you have set the tps V to .157 mV with the r.h. throttle blade closed , 0 contact w/choke kicker and linkage disconnected . I go to the l.h. throttle and turn the idle screw tii it touches and add 1/6 of a turn . I do the same on the r.h. idle screw until there is no clearance , then I attach the linkage and turn the white knob until it will hold a 0.002" feeler gauge against the throttle . Turn the knob until the feeler gauge falls . Then I call it good . Clean the air bypass screws , turn them in until they stop . Back out 1/2 turn for starters . Then adjust the l.h. idle screw until you get 0.450 mV or 0,540 mV depending on who you want to listen to . Start it up let it get warm and see how you like it .
  20. I have Moto Guzzi riding boots . With everything swelling below the knees , I am resigned to wearing Keen work boots . Nuthin' fancy .
  21. I made one of these before they became available and I was amazed . It is the difference between a 1940s farm tractor & a Japanese moto-x bike . I hope you have experienced both . All of these V11s should be equipped w/this trick .
