inlet union gu 30115220 but you could use a grease nipple /zerk and drill the centre or a brake bleed nipple
  5. Yes I think this could be the answer. The fittings are made by a company called cpc but only deal with trade. Here is the original triumph setup: The baseplate would need to be tapped to suit but don't see why not. Here is a uk supplier http://www.tom-parker.co.uk/products_subgroups.php?v=1&recall=true&products_categories=2&level2=164&products_groups=8150&products_subgroups=8150D U.S supplier http://quickcouplings.net/osc/index.php?cPath=22 Triumph kit on a U.S site http://www.triumph1.com/tiger.htm

  8. Hi Robert It is an issue with all v11's but not something to be overly concerned about, if heading on a tour it may be worth carrying a spare spring. part no's in bfg's excellent guide here http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=16872&st=0&p=180746entry180746
  9. A quick google,have you tried this place? http://theujointstore.com/info.html
  10. That' bad news. I reckon it will be on the continent by now, it may be worth posting on as many forums as possible.
  11. I think that one of the main reasons why people have problems doing this is that they are trying to do it whist there is still pressure in the hose which will lock the fitting in place. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SYAS5xsUlo&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iU3jKjwBuQA Be very careful the angled spigot (red) will break if forced and they cannot be replaced without the fuel pump at 100's of pounds. This is on my V11 but other Guzzi models the procedure would be the same. It is preferable to have a near empty tank because of the weight. I have removed the bolt holding the rear of the tank and placed a block of wood under the tank to give easier access to the petrol pump fittings. Have an old rag to hand as even once de-pressurized there will still be some fuel left in the hose and pump 1. De-pressurize the fuel system by disconnecting the wire to the pump and then try and start the bike. (if you leave the hose under pressure you will get an unpleasant shower). 2. Hold the the red fitting in one hand and with the other hand first push the coupling together, then with index finger and thumb pull the outer ring back(towards the hose) and then with a gentle wiggling action pull the couplings apart

  18. http://www.dpguzzi.com/relay.htm , this is where to get them he sends international quick and efficient although if you search micro relay on ebay/ cpc/ rs components/google you will find them. don't go for one with a diode as they can cause problems, resistor is fine.

  20. Would a regulator act like that, sending sudden bursts to the fuses now and then ? And always blow the same fuse (starter/lights/tacho) ? Wouldn't it just stop working instead of being temperamental at times ? Yes,a friends 2002 le mans was popping fuses whilst riding. He took it to his usual mechanic who took it for a run with a meter attached and diagnosed the r/r fault which he replaced and then all was well. I suppose you could prove it by disconnecting the r/r (fuse3 30a) and see if the fault goes away. edit: just spoke to Harry who had the problem above and it was always the 15a fuse 5 that was blowing.
  21. Could be the regulator/rectifier gone faulty.

The diagnostic tools that you pay for will do very little more than this. I have also the mdst that was the original diagnostic tool supplied to the dealers, the only extra thing that does is record a log and graph if you so desire. The axone 2000 will allow you to remap if you have them but not really worth the additional expense, if you already have the latest map you dont need it. The axone navigator does the same but more money still. The creator of the ducatdiag tool also has a tool that will enable you to re map and is collecting a database of maps. If you really want to spend money on the fuel injection/diagnostic side of things the cliff jefferies myecu is in my opinion the way to go.
  23. I was worried about the spindle being grooved in several places but on reading old posts this is normal for some spindles on the v11
  24. Failing that use a drift/punch smaller than the spindle diameter (i use a socket extension) and hit it harder.
