  9. just remembered that my Arai comes with a silicon lube that you can rub into the rubber visor seal to stop it drying out and to give a better seal against the visor. maybe Shoei do something similar.
  10. Hi Tom, Have a look here at the PDF manual for your helmet http://www.shoei-helmets.com/Helmet.aspx?R...amp;h=3&t=1
  11. Hi there, To remove the rear shock it's a case of removing the seat, petrol tank, side panels and air box first so that you can get to the shock mountings. Have a look here and download the workshop manual for the V11 for free. http://www.thisoldtractor.com/gtbender/moto_guzzi_misc.htm
  12. Hi Tom, Congrats on a great looking ride and welcome to the fun house. Above 5k revs and mine gets nice and smooth below that and it's anything from a slight vibration to a full on buzz through the bars. I have the raised bars on my bike so not sure how clip ons feel. Looking at your pic though the Guzzi bar ends look much smaller than the ones i've got fitted. Your Triumphs look a bit bigger, try seeing if they fit. As for the steering damper, I tried various settings but in the end found that I liked it best when it is fully wound out and not having any effect. The V11 is a great bike to ride and not that common so people will ask you about it, i've even had people say 'Moto Guzzi' what's one of them then
  13. Congrats on your new bike and welcome along to the forum Have a look here for the manuals, you'll have to scroll down the page a ways till you find them and i would recomend downloading the parts catologue as well. http://www.thisoldtractor.com/gtbender/moto_guzzi_misc.htm
  14. great news. and welcome as a new owner to the forum
  15. That bike looks really nice (although not as nice as a Mandello ). I think you should book a flight and ride the bike back and you'll get to know each other well by the time you get back home. I'd offer to ride it back for you as i've got an aunty who lives in Frankston but you'd have to pay for my flight from England Hope you manage to get the bike and am green with envy thinking about the great roads you have over there.
  16. 'can you fax it to us'. like it
  17. Sorry to hear about this BFG Quite agree with Guzzirider, Switzerland sounds like a fine place to hold a Guzzi meeting
  18. St. Andrews, Georges and Davids Day tend not to be celebrated in the same way as St.Guinness sorry Patricks is . Perhaps Scotland, England and Wales should get in touch with one of their countries brewers to see if they could start to promote the national days. Free over sized hats, streamers, flags......and so on .
  19. Much better
  20. Think I'll ring my dealer and ask about delivery
