To be honest on my SuperTwin prototype i use the G&B exhaust like on the Furia. This is a unhomologuated release of the exhaust. All the exhaust specialists i have met told that i lost at least 10 HP regarding my exhaust internal. In fact using an homologuated for my bike could be more powerfull than the unhomologuated ... I don't know if the internal have been changed. But for a 4v engine the best is a 2 in 1 in 2 exhaust when for a 2v you could put a 2 in 1. The quad-T exhaust is the G&B (quad-t made them for G& This winter my exhaust is going to be completly changed. perhaps also i will put a bigger diameter to go up to 55 or 57 mm diameter to be compliant with the big bore engine.

That's official the 4v engine as we know it actually, is dead. First sign was the introduction of the Griso with the 2V engine. The production of MGS Corsa was the last pheniw return for it The mgs corsa use the last engine the factory has in stock (they are actually checking if they could do the 50 MGS Corsa they haveannounced) MGS street legal will NEVER be produced with the 4v engine. Till now, no information about a release with 2v engine So Daytona & most of all Daytona RS owners keep it , now you are the owner of a rare bike. To keep it in mind Daytona RS world production was only about 308 bikes About the guzzi engine, Giuseppe Ghezzi tell that it is impossible to produce a real race bike with the engine conception & the cardan transmission ...

i ' m using this on the Super 4, it seems to work a little better but regarding price not terrible ...

To be exact a complete 4v 1225 engine by dynotec is between 6500 to 8 000 (only for engine & gearbox). In such condition depending of your choice engine is between 124 & 136 hp at the crank. for the 1288 it is more regarding only the price of the special crank (1500 eur) + new rods i think it is more than 10 000 eur because you are obliged to use the moto-spezial injection unit. SO $$$$$$$

The "megola" got a beautifull aluminium swing arm why not fitting something like on Miss daytona
-
Looks like the Dynotec triple clamp is it ? For our SUPER ohlins fork with radial calipers
-
This WE was the first time for me with the 1225 engine on the 2 bikes. The Supertwin settings are not finished & running in is not finished too As the daytona rs has a already done a lot of kilometers since the big bore engine was done, it will be this one that i use for comparison. The RS get a special kit cam from Dynotec so it is a 136 HP engine. It was for the Trofeo Rosso a major italian/european event in France. Have a look to Paul pictures +++ A friend pictures A video of the event will be available in the automn. So i could compare the engine performance against Duc 916/996/998/999 , Aprilia RSV, Guzzi 4v 1000 engine, Benelli Tornado ... None of this bikes could resist to the incredible engine of the Daytona RS. Only the 998 R was working so strong or nearly. The bike as a tremendous acceleration, a lot of torque already under 4500 RPM but passes the 6000 RPM you are passing in a new dimension. Everything come so quickly, jumping from a curve to another one. It was really impressive, i have so little trouble to deal with all this torque in the curve as i 'm not a racer, only a guy that love to ride strong some time I could pass some guys that where riding more stronger than i in the curves without too many troubles in the straight line. What a wonderfull time when you see the face of the guy on the Ducatis or the Aprilias when you are flying over them during the pit lane I started to fell better the Sunday and could deal a little better with the high torque. There is a HUGE difference between the daytona rs handling/hability on the track & the supertwin one. The supertwin was so easy on the track, everything seems natural. Handling, breaking etc ... Daytona rs is not a hard bike but you feel that track is not his main purpose, opposite to the supertwin. With a great rider on they could go really fast both. Now i m going to made a lot of changes to the daytona for better braking & fork update by one side & surely working on the frame on the other side

Quite the same work for us, at least for the branch. Computer workers

This is a wrong information Mathieu. For the Brembo even for the billet one like i have bought you could have the light switch but this is an option and you must specify it in the order (it will cost 15 EUR more). The billet one is a really really beautifull part i have it on the right of my computer with his left brother for the cultch
-
I have bought the billet PR19 radial master cylinder for Brakes & also the PR16 for the cluth. Now i 'll put it on the bike with all the other parts on the 1225 daytona rs. Not enough time to do this before next week end :!: why next week end : because Paul and i will be together on the Racetrack of Le vigeant in France for the Trofeo Rosso. An italian bikes dedicated week-end So Paul Fast Daytona, my supertwin 4v & Daytona RS 1225 (could not drive both togheter ;o) ) + V8 Guzzi Replica etc , all on the same track the 24/25 of July

With Paul we are on the way to the Radial calipers together Yesterday i tryed a Ducati 999 R with Brembo Billet PR 19 radial master cylinder + Brembo special discs. Never , never tryed a bike with such impressive brakes I have a ohlins Fork with radial Calipers coming from a Ducati 999 R. Now i must found a triple clamp to put it on the Daytona RS I also have this new PVM wheels i must fit on the daytona rs By the way welcome here Mathieu , you now me as Jean-Marc
-
I could not speak for the v11 but for the daytona rs i just replace the swing arm bearing of one of my daytona so. The swing arm as still some free play when you put it in the right place between the side plates ... So when we adjust the settings we only put it back like it was. So it was properly center, same distance from each side. Now i don't have check if it was perfect for the wheels alignement but till this little part replacement i don't experiment any trouble with the bike even in high speed curves ( > 180 km/h) By the way NEVER try to replace by yourself the V11 / Centauro /daytona / sport swingarm bearing. NEVER, it jut awfull to do. Give it to a bearing specialist. :!:
-
To be complete i actually have 2 dynotec engine ;o)) One in the supertwin, and one in the new daytona rs I have met a Guzzilla (name of dynotec big bore engine) owner, it has already done 60 000 km with in 1225 dynotec engine without trouble

certainely not a poser Waht did i wrote ? Oups sorryyyyyyyyyyyyyy

The best for the Pro Thunder should have been to put inside the Bursi 6 gear box set Bursi 6 speed article It is a wonderfull 6 gerabox set that you could use regarding the high torque of our bikes. By the way i made, this WE, the same modification than on the pro thunder i put the gearbox casing 6 mm under the standard fixation point. I 'll see if it is better. I will dyno'ed my 2 1225 engine bikes (Daytona RS & SuperTwin) the 16 of July if everything allright. i 'll keep you inform of the results.

you could not say it is a hoax The corsa exist and his ready to be send to the owners.
-
I think next winter or spring i could show you another Guzzi prototype with a 1225 4v engine too. Still searching some ideas for specials parts but it started to be clear in my mind You are going to hate me twice so
-
So chong chong do like me or Paul Made your own MGS Now i find my bike perfect with a really powerfull engine, this a 1225 4v engine like the MGS. Now, sure it need some times to do it.
-
i have tryed a 999 R with the radial brakes 100 mm by brembo with ohlins fork and radial master cylinder, it is just incredible regarding the standard brembo ! Really impressive and not talking about the 108 mm brembo for race use ...

Nice "candy" Al Your exhaust coating looks really Nice By the way i have found someone here in France that seems to do some beautifull coating but the prices are OUCHHHHHHH 3 or 4 * more than in the US Your wheels are polished ? -
isn't it too low for the footpegs ? :!: i ll be afraid to lean everything in the turns !
-
Because i could have a rear Ohlins shock for a great price. And i have someone searching for a WP rear you see what i mean ;o)
-
Could anyone tell me if the v11 rear shock (ohlins one) could fit a daytona or a centauro ?
-
