I also got it on the dayto RS and it works fine since 2 years now, just awfull in summer, going through the city to reach the mountain roads when you saw 110-120 ° waiting for the traffic light to swith to green i also got most of the parts to put an oil pressure gauge but i must do a special billet adaptator as the kit doesn't exist for the 4v engine, the parts i get are for a 2v engine. i want to put it on the super 4 to llok what appends inside

In France we have the semc-BREMBO pads their commercial name here is "F40" Those are some organic racing pads which give a really increase brake power. I don't know if you could find this in your country !

Hey goran what about your bike , is it ready to ride ?
-
By the way "supertwin1" , how many kilometers now ? Any troubles ? By my side, i make a 500 km this WE to improve the modifications done this winter. Now i really need to find how to setup correctly this damned fork & rear also as ohlins put me a bigger spring when adding the preload adjusting system. So many kilometers to do DAMNED Now i still have at least 2000 km to do before finishing the running in of the engine but now taking 5500 RPM , power & torque are really here And the more important increase this damned tank which is really to small , i put 13, 2 Max

A friend of mine which is a guzzi mechanic use to say never use Dunlop on bikes with cardan shaft. And i must telL that with the timel i m going in his way, for example on my Super 4 i only ride 600 km with the dunlops sports tire D20xx (don't remember) before removing because i was really not statisfied

i put some bigger pictures , browse the link . Bursi Gear box bigger ratios : 1 : 18/30 2 : 22/27 3 : 22/22 4 : 23/20 5 : 27/21 6 : 29/20 For a bike with 8/33 drive the expect max speed increase up to 270 km/h i have ask an italian friend to made the english translation.

Dear all I'm interesting in buying a Bursi 6 Gearbox set conversion This kit is for all the 5 gearbox casing, you could have a 6 gearbox instead For your knowledge this is also the gearbox that is used by Guareschi on his Racing bikes in the Italian championship (we have contact him but he don't want to sell one of his set). Bursi 6 gearbox (in italian) With a friend we have contact Mr Bursi. he has sold all the kit of the first series. He 'll be ready to make another series if he have at least 5 orders. When he have this orders he 'll tell the definitive price (depends of the number of order if 10, the price 'll be smaller). If anyone interested , please contact me by email ( jm@supertwin.org ), I centralize the requests.

PERFECT on the daytona but real short life time, between 1500/2500 km

Hello there Just a little word to tell you that you can put without troubles the same regulator than ducati or last v11 mods on daytona/centauro etc ... The only thing disturbing is that you 'll lost the functionnality of charging diod on the dashboard. But this regulator is really stronger than the old one but really bigger. Depends of the bike you perhaps need to find another place to put it. I put and use this one on the Zebulon, when the centauro one (old model) died
-
perhaps 420 HP for a hayabusa engine is a little to more
-
When i said marketting , someone didn't want to trust me ,that's it
-
No way, i 'll come with the daytona

beautifull like this paul a little shot of the other side with the wave disk ?
-
on of my friend with a 1999 V11now deal with the 85 000 km so around 53 000 miles if i'm right. no real trouble except a fuel pump & some relays in the first days Nothing surprising for a guzzi

By the way he made the Kimera for Ghezzi&Brian

Not PVM Wheels , which brand ? Ducati also sells some carbon/forged alloy wheels approve for street use but the prices is (like paul says) around 3230 EUR (4000 $) the set on http://www.pleinpot.com/ I have seen the 10 spokes PVM, not bad at all
-
Is there any center stand for Ghezzi-Brian ? No sorry just joking I have a paddock stand for each of my bikes, really usefull. For the Daytona i have bought the stand from Ducati dealer also around 100 EUR. Not the same one than TLM , you put it on the swing arm but it works fine.

One thing about this, all the guys that have tryed the 160/60 instead of 160/70 on their 1100 Sport ie where really happy about this. As there is a lot of weight on the rear on our bikes the 70 is too high and the tire suffers a lot of torque power so you have a rear tire that deforms when hot or hard drive !!! If you like to ride sometimes hard don't put the 70 but the 60 one

Just to tell that i discover this week that my G&B (as all the G&B in fact) use a modified Guzzi cardan shaft. You take the guzzi standard one for daytona/sport ... , you cut at least 3 or 4 cm and you have the G&B one !!! It is not surprising when you think that there is 7 cm wheel base less, there is no so much where you could won such place.

As Paul told i 'm actually thinking to sold the rear OZ in order to buy a rear Gold PVM to have the cush drive, if i can find one with a similar aspect to the front OZ Perhaps the one with 6 spokes in alminium. Because in the front i have the perimetrical brakes and want to keep them so no PVM in the front .. By the way if you found your bike not braking very well , just bought a Brembo radial caliper from Ducati 999. Incredible effect for a reasonable price about 200 EUR in the Ducati store this what i use on the "Zebulon". Otherwise go still upper with the Brembo PR19 radial about 270 EUR. INCREDIBLE : Today temperature is about 17°C with a beautifull weather,i go home at lunch time in order to take miss Dayto and go for a little ride with last week was snow & max t° was about 0°C & minus goes to -10°

If you really want to put money in rims the only one to buy are PVM. And don't take soem magnesium wheels limited time life around 3 or 4 years after just good for the dustbeen. The wheels in aluminium forged like PVM & OZ are the best for the road. Dymag stop the production of rear wheel for guzzi. The OZ one don't have the cush drive they are a little cheapper than PVM & weight seems really near. PVM = approx 1800-1900 EUR from Dynotec (actually around 2300 $) To give an idea an oem 4.5 rear wheel for Daytona RS costs 800 EUR; i know i have broken mine in a big road hole And this is not the 5.5 one !! So regarding quality & weight difference the price seems reasonable (even if not) .
