No i want to tell it is so impressive i never try a bike braking like this ! About the price the kit for Ducati including triple clamp is 13 000 EUR ! But you will have to bought some special brake disc too Any suggestion

I have both normal and low profile i don't think you need an adapter but like Paul my 2 oil v-sump are 2 years Old. Perhaps different now than before !

Before everything this bike is far different from a g&b supertwin. 4 v engine 1225 cc with around 135 HP Only few percent left from what is a supertwin, some part of the fairing , not all the frame, and even now the swing arm is going to be reinforced so different from original one. This bike is absolutely amazing for a guzzi powered bikes. Handling is a million kilometers from my daytona rs. I leave in the Alps and drive with friends with 996-998-999 without trouble and still surprise them each times. It took me hundred of working hours to do it but it is absolutely unique. Since the picture has been taken a lot of things have changed : Ohlins rear modified by Ohlins for me, exhaust modified too, fairing modified for a unique special hand made alumium tank ...

I bought some crashed guzzi's, repair them and sold it. I am the webmaster of a dedicated guzzi ads website so i have the chance to know every parts that are for sale in France ! Like this i could pay my gadgets and i never bought something full price Only few exceptions for the Moto Spezial unit for the supertwin, the PVM wheels for the daytona RS. I always bought things around half the price. Like for my 2 set of ohlins fork with radial calipers. To give you an idea i payed 1500 EUR for the ohlins fork with triple clamp + Brembo radial brakes with new pads + Brembo Radial Master cylinder + brake lines + carbon frontguard. This around 35 % of the price new And like Paul i build a lot of special parts by myself with some friends that are billet alumium working guys.

he could have been an idea but i already have bought a Daytona RS helicoidal gearbox with the drive haft from Sport ie (same like daytona rs) The swing arm is the last from Dynotec so the longuest one like your idea a 1440 mm wheel base But still too long regarding the supertwin with 1405 mm

Put a RADIAL master cylinder will change your braking life ! Now, even the 4 pads calipers are some great stuff. Paul sold his calipers to a friend of mine for a Ducati 996 and he is really impress by the braking power of those 4 pads calipers regarding the 65 "standard" gold brembo calipers like on the V11. Now i have tryed a 998 R with the Ohlins superbike fork kit with 108 mm Brembo billet calipers and i have been absolutely & completly disappointed by those brakes. Why : They are absolutely unbeleavable even for i even if i am not a racer guy A HUGE braking power Now the only problem is the price of those parts so Paul like i have bought an intermediate solution. The street ohlins fork with radial calipers.

Like those triple clamp Paul They are a little different from mine The fork seems lighter than my 999 R I will fit the aprilia fork like your to fit on the Guzzila racing frame. I have ordered the guzzilla alumium swing arm, moto spezial unit and special wire loop. So for the 2006 project will only miss the front fairing & tank. i have a 52 mm up akrapovic exhaust like on this bike with carbon kevlar airbox & Honda 500 NSR seat. So it will be a good sister to the other 4v guzzis in the garage But i have to found money to do a third bg bore guzzi engine. I will finish first the cycle part & after i will work on the engine.

Sorry i was away from computers things those times. So a big 2100 the set ! Pretty hard but lighter , beautifull and now painted in the same color than the new fairing i will fit on Miss Dayto in few weeks (same color than the supertwin, blue - silver - white)

Goffredo is right telling the Auvergne (center of France) i m native from there and i m actually there in my family with -25° and 1 m of snow But howfull to consult with a 56 kbs line ! Even could not have a look to my mailbox , it is the middle of nowhere You have incredible roads with so few other users Trouble is more to find a cow on the road in a curve Vercors, Gorges du Tarn, Gorges de l'Ardeche are really incredible too. So many place in France to ride if someone sponsored me for a digital video camera i could make beautifull videos with the supertwin

Bring one of your bike @t home for few weeks and you will made so many kilometers on such kind of roads in the alps that you will have a headache

It is vital for Sport ie / corsa - centauro & daytona rs. it seems also good for V11 2000. Not seems necessary for the newest ones. But regarding the low cost of the installation it could be done without trouble. For sure they was big troubles with bike from 1996 to 1999. when the battery died while you are riding you just burn the ECU and you must replace the complete unit (800 EU the unit !). It has been designed with friend and save a few units. We tarted to work on this when 3 of us has burned the ecu and decided we must found an issue.

I think it was taken in 2000 as the dynotec bike is one of the first release far from what it is now

About the question of side stand i replace the oem system by one coming from first daytona or first sport carb so the stand is now nearest of the engine and it is a better looking system Have a look on the supertwin

In France they are a little cheaper but that's it. I paid 1000 EUR for the FCR in 1996 . And when you see the work done on the bike pistons, camshaft it is really hard for the money so it is normal he would like to have a part of his money back even if we all know that we could never really get the money back for such kind of thing on a bike. Just like if one day i would like to sell the supertwin. I don't think someone would like to pay i don't know but at least 25 K EUR for my bike even if this one is absolutely unique !

It was the same with the french magazines. But i owned the 2 bikes and could tell that the Daytona RS run much more stronger when you help her with the exhaust & eprom than a Sport ie in the same conditions. When bike is liberate a rs run much more stronger than a sporti but as they are so few rs none could have been tryed in such conditions. Now i recognized that it need some times to know the bike and to be abble to use the way the power is delivered. And what about the 1225 For those who don't know the world production of Daytona RS is only 308 unit (and i own 2 of the bikes + 2 spares engines (from crashed bikes) so in fact count me fro 4 unit ) On another way i have scan a compariso between Dynotec Daytona and yamaha R1 full power it was in 1999. And who was the fastest on the track of Fuente in Spain ??? Ok, it was a small track 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11

My Supertwin is a unique prototype with the 4v engine & special parts but there is the 2v supertwin product by ghezzi&brian A supertwin cost around 17000 eur or more depends of the option

That's it You could have this from Dynotec, i didnot check but perhaps it is done by motospezial ! ? I got it on the 2 - 1225 cc bikes

By the way also buy the plate to put between engine casing & oil v sump. if one day, you do a wheeling it will help to prevent engine breaking. JM

Since several years Dynotec use the v-sump for their 1225 4v engines bikes with 136 HP. I have it on the 2 bikes with big bore engine and no problem. Paul also go it on his bike

i confirm that on the g&b it is : 1) still too short 2) need to cover more on the sides 3) i am repainting my back each time under the rain
