Thanks guys, the colours seem to be somewhere around 'good', on the scale from cold/rich to hot/lean. I think i 'll swich the injectors for a try (relatively easy to do) and see how they 'll look after some trips

Hi, I took my exhausts off today and noticed that the right header was sort of white inside, while the lift one was black. I checked the spark plugs, and they gave the same black resp. white colour. Coud this indicate the cause of engine vibrations? (I cracked a header earlier this year; the engine vibrates a bit too much @ 3500 and 5000 rpm, while 4500 is OK) The balance seems ok, when testing and setting with a carbtune. What is the good colour? My guess is the lighter coloured right one. But how can the left one turn black? Oil consumption? Bad injector?

I took off the gearbox cover today, 'cause there was some small oil leakage I wanted to fix (new sealant). I noticed a small screw on the inside (see picture). Does someone know what it's for? I myself though of some adjustment for something, e.g the max upward movement preselector hook below it. Something else: changing from 3th to 4th and from 4th to 5th often goes with some minor "teeth brushing" (the toothed wheels all look brand new after 20k km though). Is there anything I may have to adjust (either on the bike or my style of changing gears)?

Thanks guys, I bought a pipe today, and will instal in first thing tomorrow morning.

when changing my air filter and fuel filter I found two 'plugs' on the bottom of the tank that where not connected to anything. I suppose they are to let in air to keep the tank from getting vacuum. The workshop manual says "disconnect breatherpipe from coupling E" (see picture), but as I said, there is no pipe. Question(s): Is the pipe required? Where should it lead to? (I did find a possible connection at the bottom of the air filter box)

Can you put pipes without front crossover on a >2003 bike that has a front crossover? Or do you need to remap the CPU or anything like that?
