  2. Paul, I just bought a Stelvio as well. I've put about 4600KMS on it in the last 2 weeks. Think it's a great bike. The only problem I've had with it was the trouble light started to flash on the dash. On closer inspection it was telling me that the right front signal light had burned out. Replaced the bulb, problem fixed. Got the 37ltr hard bags as well. Am interested to hear your comments about your new bike.
  3. I've read Pauls item on replaceing a 6 speed into the place of a 5 speed on a series 1 Daytona. My question is can the same be done useing a 2007 Grisso 6 speed. How do the ratios compare? Looking forward to your comments.
  4. Thanks Garsdad. I won't have it home till mid Feb. really looking forward to it. Not up on old Guzzis as of yet but will spend better part of the Canadian winter pulling it apart and reassembling and hopefully learning about them with help from fellow fourm members. Have a bit of a background with Ducatis but really like all of the MG's.
  5. Thanks Paul I'll get the downloads. Where is the best place to source the belts from in North America?
  6. Thanks Raz will do.
  7. I just got confirmation that the deal I've been working on for the last month has just completed and I wanted to post a picture or two of the 1993 Moto Guzzi Daytona that I bought. Bike has serial #13, was sold in the states and comes with both the North American and European front fairing. It has 6800 miles on it. I really like working on my own bikes and this is my first Moto Guzzi so have lots to learn. Any and all advise is welcome.
  8. Hello, new here. Just in the process of buying my first Moto Guzzi. A 1993 Daytona. Have owned a number of Ducatis. Am interested in learning about the Daytona, the good and the not so good so please feel free to give me your views and advise. Will post some pictures as soon as I get it home.
