  1. width is a standard 5.5 with 180 tire , handling will of course be better with a 160 compared to a 180 (even more with a 130 rear ) . maintaining air pressure is not a problem . there is no improved ride quality its only optical , if that justifies the extra $$$$$ is a personal matter .
  2. rossopuro wheels
  3. rossopuro wheels are even in Euros expensive , but impossible to resist .
  4. Hello Paul , bike is on the bench at this moment , will post the weight later this week , I can not compare with the original V11 ones , but the spoken wheels will be heavier than the PVM magnesium wheels I replace .
  5. other side , also with vat.
  6. I have them on my table , had to pay the vat . marc
  7. I do not have a website but there are some pictures on pauls website http://guzzi.daytona-it.com/ under pictures than marc detournay . the new tubless spoken wheels are not on thes pictures , I will post some new pic in a few weeks , I am mounting a six speed V11 gearbox at the moment .
  8. I agree that the conversion is not cheap, and of course you can forget meeting todays emissions standards . But the ride is in my case smoother , I mean more specific the on of reaction if You change the throttle position in a curve (what we are not suppose to do of course) . The main reason that I did the conversion was asthetics , fits better to the Rossopuro spoken wheels . The other reasen was that I could not make the Moto special instrument work , the one with the integrated ignition and ecu , so I kept the instrument using only the ignition and put the carburators.
  9. I put 41mm keihins on my centauro engine , wich is a 1225cc bore , similar to the MGS. modification of this engine should be similar to a v11. no major problems , removed the ecu , fuel pump/filter and a lot of kable . ignition is integrated in a moto special instrument . half a day on the dyno to adjust the carburators. horsepower is the same as with the ecu 122hp on the wheel . the feeling is completely different , more smoother , no on/of feeling , I am very hapy with the modification. needs alittle bit more fuel . G Marc
  10. just mounted the rossopuro footpegs, they are a bit higher but also a more backwards wich provides a more natural sporty position in combination with lower handelbars , of course you can forget these 500 km daytrips ,at least at my age.

  12. Tank is made by Sauer http://www.alusauer.de/ He also did the tank for zebulon , perfect Quality , due , you need some patience. He can make anything, price will vary, depending what You ask him, will not be cheap. I am shure he can make one for a 2003 le mans. Can't say anything about how durable(thick) the aluminum is, looks much better than the tanks offert by Stein dinse and others, of course these will be cheaper. Do not know if he speaks Englisch, Website is only in German.
  13. Rear frame is a modified ghezzi frame fuel tank handmade .
