  1. And a bit further to the east (50km) is Herberg Hutterscheid (similar name but that is a coincident). Also the possibility to pitch your tent or sleep in the Bunkhouse. https://www.herberghutterscheiderhof.com/
  2. High Chapparal in Heiderscheidergrund Luxemburg is a nice place to go in our area. You can pitch a tent, so no trouble having a nice Belgium beer. https://www.camping-moulin.eu/faciliteiten/high_chapparal
  3. Would you say it is a coincident that it is after 20 Miles? Or is 20 mi. 20 minutes? I could imagine that time relates to heating up, the Guzzi engine needs about 20 minutes to be nicely heated up (I would estimate something like this). It could be that for example the vent of the fuel tank is heated up and squeezed somewhere. But same for other failures of course.
  4. But there is a lot to improve that. Valpolini is your friend.
  5. By the way, I received a message of Bruno Saturno as well. They do not have the Monza body parts anymore, but they have a new set now. https://www.ghezzi-brian.com/en/modelli/v-twin-supersport-2/ Although it looks very exclusive, the price might need back-up from Mrs. No overhere, so I give it another thought.
  6. I tried to get in contact with Ghezzi Brian for the tail section. But it is pretty quiet on that side. I thought the tail was a nice place to start working on some wheight loss.
  7. FleetwoodMac, Peter Green, brings me back to this years Rory Gallagher Festival in Ballyshannon, with a lot of less familiar bands playing music of Rory Gallagher of course but also a lot of Peter Green. Oh Well(1) and Shadow Play, made the crowd go bezirk (big pogo in front of the stage) to such an extend that the artists feared for their audience. Great time.
  8. Thanks for the clear explanation. I took part in the Round Britain Rally in the UK a few times and then we started to organize a similar style landmark rally with the Dutch Moto Guzzi Club. It sound very much as you describe the Texas Grand Tour. Our objective was a rally that could not be finished and it was all over the European continent from Poland to Spain, the Alps and of course Italy (and the countries in between). 150 Landmarks, and still there is always someone who visited all places. However, in 2005, before Google maps and Google Earth, it was never completely finished by one of the competitors. 2025 is the next Landmark Rally of the MGCN.
  9. Do you have all of the year to ride the GT of Texas?
  10. A landmark rally!
  11. For emission testing the restistance of a vehicle is tested with a coast-down procedure. The vehicle is shifted to neutral (or clutch is applied, not completely sure about the exact requirement) at 140km/h and is coasted down to approx. 10km/h. With this a second order diagram is determined to use on a dynamo-meter. I do know manufacturers prefere tu use bearings and couplings (CV-joints, differential-gears) that are run-in for 30.000km or more. This reduces the internal friction of of the drive-line.
  12. I heard something about these low-viscosity oils having a better performance on the emissions. Since a part of the emission tests is with a relative cold engine the 0Wxx or 5Wxx have less resistance than the 10W.
