  1. I need a pair of V11 Le Mans-logos for the side panels of my Rosso Corsa. Does anyone have a load-down logo that can be printed out on transparent foil? I also would like to have the Limited Edition-logos for my Rosso Mandello...
  2. Dang, I like that.... It's a stunning beauty! Imagine her with slightly more than 36 kW...!!
  3. First of all, I am glad that we have tutors like Kiwi-Roy among us - he alone -with his clear thoughts and pdf's- makes it worth being on this interesting forum I found something on the German eBay that could be of interest to cope with the falling-off magnets of the Valeo starters: http://cgi.ebay.de/GEHAUSE-MOTO-GUZZI-STARTER-ANLASSER-VALEO-D6RA-210-/260715570989?pt=Motorrad_Kraftradteile&hash=item3cb3dbe72d I am not absolutely sure if I understand exactly how it works, but when the Germans say that something works, it usually does. Maybe some og our German members can explain more?
  4. I have been searching the internet trying to find the right colours for my Rosso Corsa, - but so far no luck. Lots of codes out there for other Guzzis, but not for mine... Can anyone help me?

Anyone who has a right side front foot peg and a brake pedal to spare? And a standard cylinder head guard?
  6. The fairing of my beautiful Rosso Corsa is broken. Anyone who has a wind screen and the small part between the screen and the lamp for sale? A complete fairing would also be of interest...

  8. NORWEGIAN CORPORATION Your were certain you had two cows before it started snowing, but where the f%¤#k are they now??! Spring is slow this year...
  9. Cruising around 4 K . Fast riding on narrow and winding roads (Guzzi-roads) >5 K . I ride with Mistral cans and crossover, and love the pull they give out of the curves .
  10. Thanks again! I guess this means that we just have to start doin it the hard way... About needing tips and guidance; guess we all do, and if everyone contributes with what we are best at, it will add up quite well. Cheers for the brotherhood!
  11. A question a little on the side, Roy: how do you manage to make the charts look so professional?! With symbols for coils, fuses, etc.? I have a Cali II with a mostly self made side car attached. The electrics here are of course rebuilt a lot, and it would have been nice to be able to replace all the hand-drawings I have made with something that looks as good and is as easy to follow as yours. If you don't mind, what programme do you use to make the charts?
  12. OK, this is well worth commenting on: Most times when I have had an el-problem on one of my Guzzis, I draw a simplified diagram, -thus I have many spread around in my work shop. But NONE of them is as simple to follow as this one, and none so instructive and informative as yours. Thanks a lot, Roy! If the distance between Canada and Norway was smaller, I'd send my wife over to give you a hug... By the way; initiatives like this is among the things that makes this forum so genious!
  13. On the first V11 I bought, I could not remove the oil filter at all. I tried using a chain wrench, but just twisted the filter. The solution was a drill and a Dremel. Point is not to use too much power, and do not forget a thin layer of oil on the seal! When it comes to using cheaper filters, I have heard of cases where paint has come off the filter body, leaving dangerous flakes in the oil... But that was in the old days, -I guess the quality of modern filters is better
  14. Hi Lemmy! Difficult to decide when the advices differ this much... I have a Rosso Mandelo my self, along with a Rosso Corsa and four other Guzzis. I love the Rosso Mandello, both as a commuter bike as well as for longer tours. It's heavy, yes, but easy to handle once you get used to it, and there are mods that can be made. Wether you will like it on longer trips or not, depends a lot on how you ride it. It should be ridden actively, preferrably on curvy roads. I've had several day-trips ranging from 500-800 km a day, without really getting pains anywhere. Continous speeds above 130 kmh is tirening though, due to the wind pressure. For this purpose, the biger fairing of the LeMans is better, -or a BMW or something... Spare parts are easily available, especially from German eBay and dealers, and I do not think they are that expencive. The bike is easy to maintain, and given some care I would say that it's a reliable bike. The V11 is built for crossing the passes of the Alpes or cruising along the fjords of Norway! I am sure there are better bikes, both regarding reliability as well as comfort, -especially for the passanger! But to me it is more than good enough, and no other bike makes me smile broader on curvy roads than the V11 with open Mistrals mounted! But the choice is yours, Lemmy! Let your stomack decide, and enjoy whatever decision it takes... Good luck!
