  3. I only had one hose aswell.I put another on just in case the parts diagram seems unclear, I guess the right side is the most important,geddo what does the regulator look like? is that blocked ? could that be the issue?
  4. are you talking about the 2 nipple type outlets? one (i think) is a breather the other will drip fuel if its overfilled, there should be 2 black hoses attached-if theres some 'plumbing' issue and the tank is pressurised maybe fuel is seeping out here?

  6. Having spent a frustrating morning in the garage pipe bending-burnt forearm! I'm no nearer that bloody nipple!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so I guess its wheel off, will the bevel and shaft just slide off? I have the alignment marks already on it, just line them up on re assembly? thanks
  7. defo sounds like rear brake-mine does it on occasion especially after some wet riding-a good clean with an old toothbrush and some hot water should sort it-

  9. What a timely post! I've just borrowed a blowtorch to try and bend a grease gun attachment My link failing that, bearing in mind my lack of skill, whats involved in removing the shaft to grease the uj?

  14. morning all, Has any one done this to the clutch and rear brake? I've seen on eblag people selling syringes for this and wondered if it would be be a better method, suck out old fluid through the nipple then fill the same way forcing any air out the m/cylinder as you go-any thoughts?

  16. Thanks for the input guys - I finally went for a Becker stand- nice bit of kit,I too had trouble getting it up so I just tightened the wheels to stop them rolling-oil change on the weekend then
  17. thanks guys I was intending to drop the sump but figured that (considering where the drain plug is located!) there would be some oil left in the pan and it could get messy!
  18. Hi I'm bracing my self for my first oil change, what tool do I need to remove the manhole cover on the sump(what size)27mm? and which is the drain plug at rear of sump? cheers
