Hi, With the UK in the grip of an unusually prolonged spell of snow and ice the bike has'nt been used in afew weeks- it does'nt look like any change soon either! so how long is it ok to leave the bike without starting? I have ridden year round(almost) for many years so in the past has been no problem however a change of job means I no longer need to use a bike regularly, I have a battery charger but was concerned about the bores being 'dry' after a long lay up! cheers

  11. Hi, I noticed whilst reading the sloppage sheet post's that people are not screwing the dipstick all the way in as per manual- is this right? I have a roper plate fitted-any harm in 'over filling' when using this method?

    Hi, I have a silver/grey 03 naked sport which needs the rear plastics re-spayed(saddle) does anyone know the paint code or something similar? anyone got a picture of one unmolested? it looks like(on mine at least) that it is a matt finish-that right? thanks not a great picture but up close it looks terrible!!

  17. After much head scratching I can't get the top nut cover off! pry it off? or does it unscrew? need a cuppa now before I break something
  18. Hi, I need to adjust the steering bearing(probably needs regrease/replace but got MOT soon!) Have searched for info-lots of debate about torquing the top nut- anyway do I need to remove the front wheel or just raise it? thanks

  21. Hi, Is it wise to always replace the valve cover gaskets or can they be reused? Also have read that a tiny amount of silicone grease on the gaskets helps but came across this(scroll down) http://www.harpermotoguzzi.com/faq.htm any thoughts?

  24. Thanks all back together now , soaked the bolts with acf-50 overnight and thy came out ok- only problem is rear brake seems alittle spongy now-off to re-bleed -thanks
  25. Thanks, Block was a tight fit I assumed it was threaded - off to try and open the cush drive now! when re-assembling should I lightly grease the outside of this?
