  1. Thanks! If I win the national lottery this evening, I'll buy me a V11, and fly the bike and me business class to the States to meet you all!
  2. Welcome back DeBenGuzzi!
  3. So what were saying is that a garage is never big enough?
  4. FWIW: I've put a Centauro engine in my G&B (which I sold). I changed the timing gear to chain (from a California) Took some fiddling, but gave peace of mind. I also changed the oil pump to one with a needle bearing from a V11. After it was set up properly, I preferred the Centauro engine over the V11 lump. It just went like a freight train!
  5. Hi Joe! Welcome back!
  6. I agree with Milar. Although the V11 handled better. (could be due to the Ohlins upgrade ;-) ) But the Sport engine is way smoothier than the V11 lump. FWIW: I'm 1.95m (6'4") and I'm very comfortable on the Sport.
  7. I bought a 1200 Sport! ...ten years ago
  8. We have it in the Netherlands too. 5% ethanol, but if you want to ruin your fuel system, it's available with 10% too...
  9. Hi guys, Sorry about the screw up! Nic Haynes (as in Docc's son) has offered to help out sorting these pesky problems. So hopefully we'll have an accessible and working hangout again soo, but with the extra SSL security.
  10. FWIW: I had the Griso covers on my V11 and used the cheapo paper gaskets w/o any leaks. Heck, I even reused them after valve check.
  11. Yeah, where are the hammers?
  12. Wow indeed!

  14. Will fit! I've fitted 1200 Sport 2V covers on my V11. Sorry, no pics, as I don't own the V11 anymore,
  15. You know guys, reading these kind of topics make me feel happy and proud that I started this community almost 15 years ago!
  16. I wouldn't classify this as a modded V11, but as a different bike completely, using the 1100Sporti engine and drive train. But I like the idea of a modded V11 thread! Show us those alerted jugs!
  17. Local Heroes: Donnerwetter. They do a mean Johnny Cash tribute too.
  18. +1 What Docc said

You can also order in Germany at Daes Mototec. Bloody expensive though: http://shop.daes-mototec.com/de/Fahrwerk-7/Fahrwerk-24/
  20. Great stuff, I moved it to the 'How to' subforum
  21. Thanks for sharing! Great stuff.
  22. Thanks Another one for my bucket list... In 2004 I was so lucky to visit some NPs in the West, but this wasn't one of them... I found Bryce Canyon to be the most impressive.
  23. I feel the need to chime in. We've had our share of political shite on this forum. And the banning/disappearance of certain members as a result of escalating discussions didn't do this forum any good. That's why I follow threads like these very carefully. If you want talk politics (or religion), do it with restraint and w/o personal abuse, or I will take my role as Chief Whip seriously! :-)
