  2. Welkom op het forum en veel plezier met je V11 LeMans!
  3. Yep, working on it
  4. @pete: thanks for the excellent write up. I'll let you (all) know how it went.
  5. Somewhere I read that the monoshock linkage hasn’t been greased very well (or at all) by Luigi in Mandello. As I’m planning to change my rear tyre soon I thought this would be an opportunity to address this possible problem. Any suggestions on how to do this? Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk
  6. Very positive first impression by the Dutch journalist!
  7. Looks like Lario valve covers.
  8. FWIW, I used the original throttle bodies. But mostly because I wanted to be sure that if the engine wouldn't run properly, I could exclude the TB's as a possible culprit. From what I've learned from the current owner, best performance mod is a free flowing exhaust. Oh... and I used the V11 ECU 15M and had it completely remapped at a Dyno
  9. Däs pump: the best option. Especially if you're going to tune it. I use the V11 pump and went with a chain cam drive. German DAS/DHS? oil pump and Joe Caruso steel gears. Sent the rods back to Carrillo for a refresh as well Ciao
  10. Nice! What kind of oilpump are you going to use?
  11. Don't eat the yellow concrete...
  12. That's a really nice picture!
  13. And there is a option for twin-spark. Has been done a lot as far as I know. Here is an old topic: https://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=15316
  14. Benoit uses a different website to host the images. And puts the link to the image in his post with the image button.
  15. There is some swag availbale on Zazzle I had completely forgotten about: https://www.zazzle.com/s/v11lemans
  16. No, sadly I haven't. I have fond memories of that evening. Mike Sullivan, Joe Camarda and you if I remember correctly? Your National Parks are amongst the most impressive places I have ever seen! Especially Bryce NP. I have done lots of travelling after that, but mostly within Europe.
  17. Thanks! If I win the national lottery this evening, I'll buy me a V11, and fly the bike and me business class to the States to meet you all!
  18. Welcome back DeBenGuzzi!
  19. So what were saying is that a garage is never big enough?
  20. FWIW: I've put a Centauro engine in my G&B (which I sold). I changed the timing gear to chain (from a California) Took some fiddling, but gave peace of mind. I also changed the oil pump to one with a needle bearing from a V11. After it was set up properly, I preferred the Centauro engine over the V11 lump. It just went like a freight train!
  21. Hi Joe! Welcome back!
  22. I agree with Milar. Although the V11 handled better. (could be due to the Ohlins upgrade ;-) ) But the Sport engine is way smoothier than the V11 lump. FWIW: I'm 1.95m (6'4") and I'm very comfortable on the Sport.
  23. I bought a 1200 Sport! ...ten years ago
