  1. I'm busy with packing right now. Not easy if you have limited space and really, really need 4 clean pair of socks a day... And I'm still in doubt what gear to wear; my Goretex suit or the leather suit/rainsuit. I already packed an extra set of gloves. I'll let tomorrows weather decide.
  2. Don't buy a new one!!! My guess there are plenty of hardly used OEM X-overs on this forum.
  3. Tussen 14.00 en 14.30 hadden we toch afgesproken?
  4. Antonio, thank you, thank you!!! Tot woensdag!
  5. Just finished a short test ride (about 100 kms) to check if everything is allright for my week in Scotland. Verdict: runs like a dream! Now I'm going to gather some stuff I need for the trip and then it's off to my mum. Yes, it's Mother's Day guys!
  6. Cool... although a republican (as in no monarchy) myself I can imagine it was a good day for you!
  7. Antonio, check weeronline.nl: http://www.weeronline.com/Groot-Britanniee/Ullapool.htm or http://www.weeronline.com/Groot-Britanniee/Inverness.htm
  8. Yep, but they got a big language problem, which will tear the country in two in the foreseeable future. To be honest, I'd rather have wet feet...
  9. I'm ready to donate and help you out... (nudge nudge, wink wink)
  10. I remembered reading a test by Alan Cathcart in a bike mag. I believe the production bike has the Korean Hyosung SV650 rip off engine?

  12. Just had the bright idea to check the owner's manual...
  13. That's funny... I just asked exactly the same question on the Dutch Guzzi forum. No answer yet.
  14. I think this topic has some useful info: Model/year breakdown

  16. Well, the Guzzi gurus in Holland (TLM, Motortoer, etc...) all say 0.10/0.15 is too tight. Those are the factory settings intended for noise/emission standards. My bike runs happily with 0.2/0.22. I'm going to use this one! Too bad it doesn't translate well into Dutch.
  17. A friend of mine owned one for a year or so. It could take six people. If I remember right the 5th and 6th seat were reversed. But you are right; it was one crappy car! It broke down on him about every two weeks... After some googling:
  18. If you fit the slipons you don't need the PCIII. Only if you also modify the X-over and/or intake. It'll run fine without PCIII. (Sorry Todd...)
  19. It won't come. It'll never come. Don't get your hopes up and spend your money on something else...
  20. This Sunday is the last match day and decision day for dutch championship. PSV has thrown away a 12 point lead and now there are three teams (Ajax Amsterdam, PSV Eindhoven and AZ Alkmaar) who share first place at the moment! AZ with manager Louis van Gaal has the best chances. Although I think Van Gaal is a major ***hole, his team has shown the nicest football this season and should win. One thing is sure, it'll be exciting to watch!
  21. Do some of you UK guys know the nicest route from Newcastle to Edinburgh? That's where I'll be staying the first night of my week in Scotland, thanks to MacGuzzi.
  22. No, I had mine flashed by a dyno specialist. In Holland, no annual testing and no hp limit when you're over 23 years old (I believe)
