  1. It looks like he made a very long trip on this bike. East- to westcoast US or vice versa? Looks like about during WW 1
  2. Chris, I don't know if you and Jane are into racing, but you could start your trip with an event worth visiting; the Ducati Club Race in Assen ( 8, 9 and 10 June.) Lots of European stuff (and some Guzzi's too!) on the track, open paddock and overall great fun! http://www.ducaticlub.nl/?action=read&id=52
  3. Pete, I'd be happy to meet you and have you over. Schedule permitted. Only 300 meters from my home stands a beautifully restored Nuovo Falcone Civile. Small warning; not much to do in my village, but I only live about 45 min. drive from TLM / Nijmegen. When are you planning to come over? That way I can warn the authorities. My neighbour's Nuovco Falcone:
  4. Honest... I don't know. And as for contacting the rider/owner to find out(he's from the same country as the bike's manufacturer, and his last name is also a famous bike brand, btw); I don't speak his language and I'm quite sure he doesn't speak mine. One last hint: it's not a one off.
  5. That sucks... But now you have the chance to add some shiny bits! (And they're cheaper than OEM Guzzi stuff)
  6. I wouldn't know.
  7. It looks military, some kind of foldable paratrooper bike? For pulling a light (machine)gun maybe?
  8. still no right answers, not even close...
  9. Jim, the image won't load anymore, I'll see what I can do. Wild guess: Japan?
  10. Don't worry, almost every dutchmen speaks/writes english. I'll tell them if they have questions on the forum to ask them in english.
  11. Jens, I forwarded your project to the dutch Guzzi forum: http://www.mgcn.nl/forum/index.php?showtopic=4654
  12. Have to disappoint you; found the pic online. and ... sorry, no points for effort!
  13. It was probably a loose bullet connector under the tank. Luigi made the wires a bit too short, so there is tension that loosens the connectors. I don't know of any V11 without that specific problem... Did you have to shortwire it? I would fix this though. Riding off with jiffy out can cause serious accidents. Succes ermee!
  14. All no... ( Oh, and Ben, check my sig... )
  15. That's cool... I sat together with Paul eating Barilla pasta on the same bench where you took this picture!
  16. no... I'm gonna get a stumper!!!

A dutch bike mag compared the Norge with the Beemer tourer. The Norge came up first.

  21. Too bad! Worst of all: I can't make it that weekend... (After rereading my post I have to say that the innkeepers sudden death is ofcourse the worst of all; not me not being able to make it)
