Tell him you'll buy it if he makes sure the left tank badge faces the right way!
  2. My starter button got stuck too sometimes. The mounting screw was overtightened. I loosened it half a turn, no problem anymore. But Rocker's suggestion is possibly more to the point.
  3. Paul, read the infamous hollow axle thread. Click here.
  4. There's always light at the end of a tunnel...
  5. My prediction/doom scenario: Germany will overrun the Italians and beat the French in the final. The german team and the german people are living on a cloud and are not planning to leave for quite a while! I won't lose a minute of sleep over it... Last night at a party we only talked about the WC football and the devaluated Tour de France. Suddenly someone mentioned the falling of the dutch government. One would almost forget this (for us) important news.
  6. 1-1 for the Germans I'm afraid it's over and out for the Argentinians...
  7. Although I myself have gone off topic a few posts ago, please stay on topic from now on and please do the bickering off board.
  8. Hi pShenk, check the FAQ on this topic. Lots of links to info.
  9. Just Googled a bit and... presto Cool site! It's from the NewBelgium brewery in Colorado... nothing Belgian.
  10. Do we have someone on this forum who could give a psychological profile of the owner using pics of the different V11 projects? Should be interesting! You can start with me and my bike
  11. Is it this one? (A '66 odel btw.) More Stornello pics
  12. Is it one of the 4-cyl Benelli Moto Guzzis?
  13. "What are you thinking about?" I've seen it quite a few times, stays funny!
  14. I used the compressor. Worked fine. Try warming the grips up first, make them a bit more supple.
  15. Talk to the hand! You're right, but the Portugese aren't innocent too...
  16. It was nice to see that Becks still has the touch. Great free kick!
  17. The Mugello race makes up for a season's worth boring races, I think.
  18. Rich Maund did fabricate one: http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=38
  19. Chocolate sprinkles It's meant to be eaten on bread, but I don't like sweet stuff on my bread. For me: only. I don't have a favourite condiment. I eat (Heinz) ketchup with my fries, local mustard on my meatballs. Just depends on the food. The typical dutch food is rather bland. That's why spicy food from other countries are very popular over here: Italian, Chinese, Indonesian, Mexican, etc. My favourite local food: my mom's boiled potatoes and beans with buttermilk sauce, all on one plate with lettuce, fried onions, fried bacon, mustard and sliced cucumber as side dish. Sounds gross, but you just have to try it!
  20. Freedom of choice is holy imo, but use it wisely and esthetically...
  21. With the utmost respect for JC... but lately he only is good for talking soccer jibberish on the dutch television. The only person who pretends to understand him is his regular interviewer and he only fakes it because he thinks he's in the presence of God. Cruyff 30 years ago Cruyff nowadays Goran, I'm cheering for Sverige too, but the Germans are pumped and have the home advantage. My prediction: 3-2 for Germany... sorry! So how about Guus Hiddink and his soccaroos? There's a surprise!
  22. I had a great time too! Highlight of the weekend: Pulling Antonio's chain... He missed out on the Dutch AND the Italian football game, because the TV was kaputt... Seriously, it was all good. The ride to the meeting with Antonio, meeting people again after a sometimes two years lapse, german Häfeweizen beer, lots of great V11s, good fun at the bar on saturday evening, beautiful weather, etc. But (yes, there is a but) a lot of people on the german V11 forum complain about the bad food, the indifferent innkeeper and the under standard sanitary for the campers. They are seriously looking for a different location. We'll see... Total score: Throttle body blown off by backfire (easy fix, thanks Antonio!) Speedo cable busted on the way back (spare on the shelf) Extreme vibrations at 4500 rpm. (that means a visit to TLM for a TB balancing session I guess) Oh, Antonio's bike had a small defect just before we paused on the Autobahn. Again an easy fix with a tie rip.
  23. I'm with Carl on this.
  24. I'll forward the money I already got (and add my share of course) No MRT donations on my account anymore, please!
