  1. Maybe this page gives some insight? http://www.mgcn.nl/mg-framenummers
  2. Duhhh. I feel stupid now. That is part of it. Thanks for the clue, I needed one! Engine is also off the center line , 13mm to the drive side ->right. -KG- AFAIK the V11 with the 6 speed gearbox has the engine in the middle. The older models with the 5 speed box are off with 13 mm. Sent from a clever thingy with a microprocessor and an interweb connection
  3. Why for Pete's sake buy bearings from MG? V11 wheel bearings are very common sizes. You can order/buy them at every automotive store for a lot less money.
  4. Sorry mmcool, overlooked your post. You're in now!
  5. Hi Hank, I changed the registry accordingly. Welcome to the forum and enoy the Tenni!
  6. Congratulations ! And don't forget: you can't start early enough with Moto Guzzi indoctrination. [emoji6] Sent from a clever thingy with a microprocessor and an interweb connection
  7. The biggest (and most expensive) modification for quicker handling are lighter wheels. After I fitted the OZ wheels, I got a completely different bike! And if you're really adventurous, you can steepen the angle of the fork by cutting and welding the frame and lenghten the swing arm...
  8. No, the registry is up to date
  9. Never heard of Melody Gardot, but she quite something! Here's a Dutch pop/country singer who tried to make it in the States. I like Ilse de Lange. Not only is she good singer (and a looker) but she's from the same part of NL as I am. And she's not afraid to speak our dialect on national TV.
  10. Just a suggestion: This thread could be a lot more interesting if one actually shared it's music by linking to the video. It's easy, just copy/paste the link (URL) in your message!
  11. From the dark corners of the Canadian music industry: https://vimeo.com/3554167 I recently rediscovered this CD in my attic where it has been hiding itself behind the Christmas decorations. Listening to it brought back some good memories of my 4 years of study.
  12. Van isn't around very often. I'll take care of the entry in the registry
  13. One of my other favorites: Soundgarden. I'm a big grunge fan, except Nirvana, way too depressive for me. I saw them live in Amsterdam a while ago... what a deception! A performance w/o any effort to capture the audience. Plus, the volume was above pain level! Just ridiculous. My guess is that they visited too many 'coffee shops' the night before
  14. I've seen all their shows in the Netherlands since '87. Amazing how they pick up influences and use them, w/o losing their typical Rush sound. And if you write down all the great bands that have been influenced by Rush.. this post would get too long!
  15. It suffices to just copy/paste the URL (http://www.etceter.com/etcetera) in the message and the clip is embedded automagically. Make sure the Enable HTML option is checked. Sent from a clever thingy with a microprocessor and an interweb connection
  16. If i'm not mistaking we've never had a music thread on this forum! It would be nice to know the V11 rider's music taste. I'll start off. As yo may have noticed my avatar is the Star Man from the early Rush albums. I discovered Rush in the mid eighties and they never disappointed me. One of my favorits:
  17. Using an OEM base gives you the advantage of going back tonoriginal looks whenever you decide to sell the bike Sent from a clever thingy with a microprocessor and an interweb connection
  18. Here's another one, from the other side of the pond. What's the make?
  19. Belgian made FN. Here's the WWII army version. A lot of them were confiscated and used by German Wehrmacht
  20. Good starting point would be a used OEM seat and have it customized. These guys are in NL and it looks they can make a seat just like you want it: http://www.tijgerleathers.nl/
  21. I think they're 40 liters. H&B have 30 or 40 liters sizes. I just bought a one time used 30 liter set in Germany for my 1200 Sport. The 40 liters were a big too wide for my taste.
  22. There are plenty of V11 models with black forks. Why not try to swap or look for a used pair? I've seen them on eBay a few times for little money. Imo everything that enlarges the diameter of your forks is a bad idea.
  23. Ooooh... a proper redhead! *jealous*
  24. Good luck with your quest, As stated above, they are out of business for over 10 years.
  25. That reminds me. InTeam still ows me such a fairing! Sent from a clever thingy with a microprocessor and an interweb connection
