I've read and heard Highway 1 is great, by car too. But don't underestimate the distance! We Europeans tend to think when we see the US map... "that's doable" but in reality... Two years ago we did Seattle- SF with a small detour (4000 miles) in an RV. Best holiday ever!

Don't worry too much...Using your own pictures is the "safest" thing to do copyright wise. If you use pictures from another site, do it wisely, and download them first. Then upload them to this site. Do NOT link them from the maker's site. BTW, that's not me in my avatar, but a very funny character from a famous dutch TV show.
