  9. Hi John, welcome to the forum! Good choice on bike. Older and wiser WRT to your questions: All bikes/all years have EFI, solid lifters and hydraulic clutches. There is a model breakdown by JRT somewhere in the FAQ section.
  10. There still isn't an official date from the factory! But you are probably right about the dates. It looks like I'm going too. With a group of about 200 Guzzisti. TLM organises this trip every 5 years.
  11. It's just rare, and it's got this very odd engine setup.
  12. I don't have anything against functional nakedness
  13. That's ugly...
  14. Greg, I have a complete V11 LeMans headlight for sale. I think it's the same as om the Ballabio. A little bit smaller in diameter than the headlight from the V11S. Contact me if you're interested: infov11lemans.com
  15. Bonus point given. Too bad I missed this one... oooh well...
  16. Just take it off and don't replace it. I know there are quite a few riders who have the thing turned loose all the way. same thing as not having it. I don't think it'll make a big difference. AFAIK there is no repair kit.
  17. If they'll have you...
  18. None of the above, but I won't keep you guessing any longer: It has a Velox head on it. On the dutch Guzzi forum there was a thread about it; I had never heard of it before, ergo: quiz! I can't translate the article, no time, but I guess that with a little effort you can find info on the web.
  19. GTV 500 it is, but that's not special.
  20. What's special about this ol'Goose?
  21. It wasn't me either, I couldn't get away from work
  22. Great stuff! The link to the thread: http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=1013.0 Pete, were's the rubber chicken?
  23. Even if we are kicked out in the first round: 4 Dutch coaches in a World Cup. Must be some kind of record. Marco van Basten - Netherlands @#$$#! Advocaat - S. Korea Leo Beenhakker - Trinidad & Tobago and our local hero: Guus Hiddink - Australia My personal favourite is again Costa Rica. They won't survive the first round, but I love that country. Been there in 2001 on holidays. I even bought the national tricot when I was there.
  24. Some pics from the gallery: And a pic on how it looks on my bike at the moment:
  25. The german V11 forum webmaster is producing a V11 (only bikes!) calendar at the moment. I will keep you informed on the progress.
