  1. BFG, you just can't take it when someone is funnier than you, can you?

Hi Spitzer, I think that on the Wildguzzi forum there are more people who are into the "older" models and have more knowledge. But you are of course welcome to our forum and maybe there are some Guzzisti around who can help you!
  3. My name is Bruce and I'm an Aussie I'm not allowed to use the word "mate" anymore
  4. That's not funny, I didn't know that.
  5. This is what you're saying, isnt it?
  6. Great stuff. When I was 16-17 there always was a big controverse between guys on Zundapps and guys on Kreidlers. The Zundapps were mostly owned by the local rednecks (!) and the Kreidlers by people like me... whatever that means. Only old farts had a Solex.
  7. Too bad he's so funny! He's a comedian and shouldn't be taken this serious. They show Top Gear over here too and it's become so popular that it has moved to prime time.
  8. Another "theme bike" from OCC?

    BREAK IN

    That's NOT funny!
  10. I'm very happy with the Contis too.
  11. There are two unused bullet connectors near the battery. I believe you can use these for "appliances". My guess is that a cell phone charger isn't a problem. But I bet there are people on this board who can give you the facts on this instead of my guesswork...
  12. That's true, but a original Tenni will sell a lot easier than an IMO ugly hybrid LM.
  13. Doc, that sucks! Glad you're ok though. AFAIK the LM you have, should have an OEM side stand cut off switch. I have one from the same year, which has one.

    BREAK IN

I used the normal factory prescribed break in. No / hardly any oil consumptiuon.
  15. Whatever you do, dont repaint your Tenni parts. You won't be able to sell the bike if it's not OEM. Are you going to keep the green Tenni fairing with the Coppa colors? I have my doubts on how that will look...

I'm definitely taking one for a test spin when it hits the showrooms! I like the "techno-cruiser" style.
  17. I didn't get an eBay object once. I had payed the seller with PayPal and got a full refund! Try complaining with eBay first. See what happens. You can always leave bad feedback later on.
  18. I got the contest going. First bike of the Month will show on the frontpage September 1st. You can still enter!!!
  19. Or... you can have your seat heightened by Rich Maund like I did. Works great! I'm 6'3"
  20. I have to register...
  21. Go to: MGCN Clubwinkel and click the tab "kleding" (clothing) There are a few items that say "Kinder" this-and-that. Those are the items suitable for children.
  22. Catherine Bach If I were a girl I'd be sliding off my chair right now... Thanks TX!!!
  23. The RC1200 is quite a tight fit... Is there a possibility for you to try the RE 0280?
  24. Congratulations from Holland too! The Moto Guzzi Club Netherlands has some children's clothing: I can get you a children's T-shirt with the Guzzi logo, but it's sized for 3-4 year olds. If you're interested let me know.
  25. Enzo, dikes are the artificial "obstacles" alongside a river, lake or sea to prevent water flooding the surrounding land. In my case it was a river dike. The dikes follow the river quite closely and that's why the roads on top have nice corners. The fatal curve was a 3d gear one, that suddenly turned into a 2nd gear one... The road was rather narrow so I couldn't get the bike through anymore. I "jumped" off the 25 feet high dike involuntary and the bike luckily went on it's side and slid down the rocky surface. The rocker cover took most of the punishment and yes, that's a hole. .
